Lapisan Pâtisserie Brings Its Layers of Delight to Johor Bahru

May 30, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

Lapisan Pâtisserie (Lapisan) brings its best French delights to The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey, Johor Bahru! This opening follows the success of its first store opening in Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur, and will introduce a much larger space for visitors to enjoy more than just pastries. Patrons can look forward to enjoying freshly baked pastries, delicate petit cakes, and perfectly brewed coffee.

New items available at the Mid Valley Southkey outlet include the Pistachio Bowtie Croissant and Pistachio Cronelé, which recently made their debut at the Salon Du Pain festival in Kuala Lumpur. Other new offerings include the Chocolate Cronelé and Crème

Brûlée Cronelé, which are both croissant-layered crispy caneles filled with chocolate or crème brûlée cream.

In the new menu, Lapisan also introduces the Tiramisu Maritozzo, another new creation inspired by the great love received for its equally enticing strawberry version. The final key pastry on the menu is the Shakshouka Danish, a light danish with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and egg, topped with spicy crumbs.

Since first opening its doors in August 2024, Lapisan Pâtisserie has made a name for itself in Malaysia’s vibrant dessert industry by enticing patrons with its inventive pastries. Lapisan Pâtisserie offers more than just desserts; it promises a comprehensive sensory experience where flavour, craftsmanship, and hospitality all come together harmoniously.

It truly embodies the application of classic French techniques in a uniquely Malaysian way.

Be sure to visit its latest store at G-049, The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey, Persiaran Southkey 1, Southkey, 80150, Johor Bahru, to secure yourself the best treat for the long weekend!
