Slide Into the Year of the Snake with KL East Mall’s ‘Sakura Blossom of Fortune’

January 25, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

KL East Mall invites shoppers to celebrate the Year of the Snake with its captivating “Sakura Blossom of Fortune” decor, running until 9 February 2025. Inspired by the charm of traditional courtyards, the Main Atrium is transformed into a serene compound adorned with cherry blossoms, peonies, bamboo shoots and lanterns, offering visitors a tranquil yet festive ambiance. At the heart of the decor lies a striking hanging snake sculpture, symbolising wisdom, grace and prosperity, making it a must-see attraction this Chinese New Year.

This festive celebration includes an array of exhilarating performances, including the award-winning Kwong Ngai Lion Dance, Wushu displays, oriental cultural dances, LED drum shows and instrumental music. Families can also meet the God of Prosperity during walkabouts, spreading blessings and good fortune throughout the mall.

Shoppers can explore an exciting mix of festive treats and offerings, from cookies and beverages to stylish festive attire by local brands like Sembonia and Kapten Batik, alongside international names such as H&M, Levi’s, and Steve Madden. Dining options abound, featuring local favorites like A’Decade, Dolly Dim Sum and Café Chef Wan, as well as international cuisines at Absolute Thai, Sushi Zanmaiand Ole Ole Bali.

In the spirit of giving, KL East Mall offers shoppers exclusive rewards. Spend RM188 in a single receipt to redeem limited edition ang pow packets, or RM388 for an Exclusive Tea Set, available at the Concierge Counter on the G1 Floor while stocks last.

Celebrate the joyous “Sakura Blossom of Fortune” at KL East Mall this Chinese New Year and create memorable moments with loved ones. For more information, visit www.kleastmall.com or www.facebook.com/kleastmall.my.
