Celebrate the Holiday Seasons at Hilton Petaling Jaya

December 12, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

The holiday season is a time of joy, celebration, and togetherness, and Hilton Petaling Jaya perfectly encapsulated this spirit with their annual festive showcase. On November 19, 2024, the hotel officially kicked off its holiday festivities with the highly anticipated Tree Lighting Ceremony, transforming the hotel lobby into a scene of magical splendor. The towering Christmas tree, adorned with sparkling lights and intricate decorations, became the centerpiece of the evening, symbolizing the warmth and cheer of the season.

Guests were greeted with the harmonious melodies of traditional Christmas carols, filling the air with a sense of nostalgia and festivity. Adding an extra layer of charm, Santa Claus himself made a surprise appearance, delighting children and adults alike with his jovial presence and infectious laughter.

The event not only set the tone for the upcoming holidays but also emphasized Hilton Petaling Jaya’s commitment to creating memorable experiences for its guests. The attention to detail in every element—from the stunning decor to the cheerful ambiance—ensured that the evening was nothing short of enchanting.

An Exquisite Culinary Showcase at Paya Serai

While the ambiance was captivating, the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the Festive Dinner Buffet at the hotel’s renowned Paya Serai restaurant. Known for its exceptional culinary offerings, Paya Serai outdid itself with a menu that celebrated the rich, comforting flavors of the season.

The feast began with a range of exquisite starters and mains designed to appeal to diverse palates. Some of the must try includes their Roasted New Zealand Sirloin which is perfectly  cooked to perfection, this dish was a standout, with its tender texture and rich mushroom sauce that complemented the meat’s natural flavors. Each bite was a harmonious blend of savory indulgence, making it a clear favorite among diners. The carefully prepared sides, such as sautéed Brussels sprouts and vibrant red cabbage, added a touch of earthiness to the meal, creating a well-rounded culinary experience.

For lamb lover, never missed out their signature Roasted Boneless Lamb Leg which is perfectly infused with aromatic rosemary and served with a refreshing mint sauce, this dish delivered a balance of bold flavors and tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture.

In the buffet, one can also enjoy the splendid seafood selection which includes fresh oysters,  to plump prawns and mussels that were bursting with natural sweetness.

No festive feast is complete without desserts, and Paya Serai ensured that guests ended their meal on a high note. The Chocolate Yule Log was a crowd-pleaser, its rich, velvety texture embodying the decadence of the holidays. Meanwhile, the Traditional Christmas Pudding, drizzled with black treacle sauce, offered a nostalgic flavor that perfectly captured the essence of Christmas. Guests also enjoyed a selection of holiday cookies, including cinnamon stars and honey cookies, each delicately crafted to evoke the warmth and sweetness of the season.

Asides from the festive menu, they also offer the wide selection of their signature delights which includes their Laksa, grilled items, local favourites, salads, and Chinese spread too.

Hilton Petaling Jaya goes beyond exceptional dining to offer a complete festive experience. Their special events on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are designed to bring families and friends together in a joyful atmosphere.

Some of the highlights includes live carol performances and a street magician to entertain and mesmerize guests. The buffet menu continues to impress with festive specialties, ensuring a night of culinary delight and entertainment. Perfect for families, this event includes engaging activities such as a Gingerbread Decorating Competition, where children can unleash their creativity. Santa Claus makes another cheerful appearance, spreading more holiday magic.
