Unlimited ingredients in one bowl from RM 20 only  at  Amphawa, Nu Sentral

September 4, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

As a first-time visitor to Amphawa, nestled within the vibrant Nu Sentral shopping complex, I was eager to experience the restaurant’s famed milk tea. Known for its rich and creamy beverages, Amphawa has recently introduced a new concept that pairs their beloved drinks with the tantalizing flavors of tomyam noodles. This innovative combination promised an exciting culinary journey that I couldn’t wait to embark on.

Stepping into Amphawa, I was immediately struck by the warm and inviting ambiance. The menu prominently featured their new tomyam noodle offerings, which came in two sizes: a Large Bowl priced at RM 25 and a Small Bowl at RM 20. Each bowl was accompanied by a pack of noodles, setting the stage for a highly customizable dining experience

What sets Amphawa apart is the ability to tailor your tomyam noodle bowl with a wide variety of fresh ingredients. The selection was impressive, including squid, lala (clams), mussels, chicken balls, fish balls, enoki mushrooms, and many more. In here, stack as tall as you can with just one price.

When my bowl of tomyam noodles arrived, I was greeted by an aromatic steam that hinted at the explosion of flavors to come. The noodles were perfectly cooked, achieving a delightful balance of tenderness and chewiness. Each bite was a revelation, with the fresh seafood enhancing the overall taste. The squid was tender, the clams were juicy, and the enoki mushrooms added a delightful texture to the dish.

However, the true star of the meal was the tomyam soup itself. It delivered a perfect blend of spiciness, aromatic herbs, and a light sour tang that tantalized my taste buds. The broth was rich and flavorful, with each sip offering a harmonious balance of heat and zest. This symphony of flavors created a deeply satisfying and memorable dining experience.

No meal at Amphawa would be complete without trying their signature milk tea. Known for its creamy and sweet profile, the milk tea provided the perfect counterbalance to the spicy tomyam noodles. The smooth, rich texture of the tea complemented the robust flavors of the soup, creating a delightful interplay of tastes that elevated the entire meal.

My first visit to Amphawa at Nu Sentral was an unforgettable culinary adventure. The restaurant’s innovative approach to tomyam noodles, combined with their renowned milk tea, offered a unique and satisfying dining experience. The ability to customize each bowl with fresh and diverse ingredients ensures that every visit can be a new and exciting exploration of flavors.

Whether you are a fan of spicy soups or simply seeking a new culinary delight, Amphawa is a must-visit destination. The combination of customizable tomyam noodles and the perfect cup of milk tea makes for an exceptional meal that will leave you craving more.
