‘Spice Up Your Joy’ with Jollibee’s Limited Edition Nasi Lemak Chickenjoy

September 5, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Jollibee, the popular restaurant chain, teams up with local favourite Village Park Nasi Lemak sambal to “spice up your joy” with a Malaysian twist on their iconic Chickenjoy, the Nasi Lemak Chickenjoy.

This limited edition offering combines Jollibee’s signature Chickenjoy with Village Park’s renowned sambal, served alongside fragrant coconut rice, crispy anchovies, refreshing cucumber slices, and a boiled egg. The result is a deeply satisfying meal of rich flavours and textures. The Village Park sambal adds a fiery kick, perfectly complementing the Chickenjoy, which features a family-owned recipe involving hand-breaded crispiness on the outside and marinated juiciness on the inside, enhancing the overall mouth watering experience. Paired with fragrant coconut rice, crispy anchovies for texture, and refreshing cucumber slices, each bite is crafted to be irresistible.

“Since introducing Jollibee Chickenjoy in 1978, our mission has been to spread the joy of eating and offer great-tasting menus. We’re excited to bring Malaysians a special twist on our iconic Chickenjoy that feels closer to home. By partnering with the legendary Village Park Nasi Lemak sambal, which is popular among most Malaysians, we have recreated this beloved national dish with our signature Chickenjoy,” says Ng Sze En, Marketing Manager of Jollibee Malaysia.
