A Memorable Dining Experience at Positano Risto Publika

September 10, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Positano Risto Publika is more than just an Italian restaurant; it represents a thoughtful choice for those seeking a Muslim-friendly dining experience without compromising on the authenticity and quality of Italian cuisine.

Located in the bustling Publika Shopping Gallery in Kuala Lumpur, Positano Risto offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for families, friends, and food lovers who appreciate good food and a welcoming environment.

The inspiration behind Positano Risto comes from co-founder Haji Muhammad Imran bin Abdullah’s desire to create a restaurant where Muslims could enjoy high-quality Italian dishes without worrying about the ingredients. Every dish at Positano Risto is prepared with Halal-certified ingredients, and the restaurant strictly avoids alcohol, making it a safe and enjoyable dining choice for everyone.

Zuppa di Funghi al Tartufo

The menu at Positano Risto is a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to offering a variety of delectable dishes. Starting with the appetizers, the  Zuppa di Funghi al Tartufo  is a rich and hearty wild mixed mushroom soup, drizzled with truffle oil and sprinkled with parmesan. This dish is served with a slice of garlic bread, making it a perfect start to any meal.

Minestrone alla Genovese

Another excellent option is the  Minestrone alla Genovese , an extra-rich vegetable soup prepared in the style of Genoa, Italy. The addition of basil pesto gives it a vibrant flavor, making it a favorite among guests.

The  Spaghetti al Nero di Seppia

For the main course, Positano Risto offers a range of pasta dishes that are both delicious and satisfying. The  Spaghetti al Nero di Seppia  is a standout dish featuring al dente spaghetti tossed in a spicy squid ink sauce. The dish is served with a generous portion of fresh seafood, including tiger prawns, squid, clams, mussels, and scallop, all enhanced by the freshness of cherry tomatoes and parsley.

Spaghetti Aglio Olio ai Frutti di Mare

Another must-try dish is the  Spaghetti Aglio Olio ai Frutti di Mare , a classic from Italy’s Amalfi Coast. This dish is a simple yet flavorful combination of fresh seafood mixed with garlic, olive oil, fresh red chili, and parsley, making it a perfect choice for those who appreciate a good pasta dish.

Positano Risto’s  Tiramisu

No Italian meal would be complete without dessert, and Positano Risto’s  Tiramisu  is a true highlight.

Served tableside, this classic Italian dessert is layered with coffee-soaked ladyfingers, mascarpone cream, and meringue, and is topped with dark chocolate shavings and dusted with cocoa powder. The presentation adds a touch of theatrical flair, making the dining experience even more memorable.

Millefoglie

Love the Crispy puff pastry layered with juicy peach slices, chocolate chantilly cream, and custard cream. Known as Peach Strudel in other restaurants, this is truly a pastry lover’s delight. Often referred to as “Peach Strudel” in other restaurants, Positano Risto’s Millefoglie takes this classic dessert to new heights, providing a decadent finish to any meal. Whether you’re a pastry aficionado or simply in the mood for something sweet, the Millefoglie promises to satisfy your cravings with its perfect balance of crispness, creaminess, and fruity freshness.

Positano Risto also caters to younger diners with a dedicated kids’ menu. The  Kids Pumpkin Soup  is a creamy and aromatic soup that’s sure to be a hit with children, while the  Crispy Snack Platter  offers a fun and tasty assortment of chicken nuggets, fries, and cheese sticks.

Overall, Positano Risto in Publika KL is a wonderful dining destination that offers something for everyone. Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty Italian meal or looking to enjoy a special occasion with family and friends, Positano Risto provides a dining experience that is both satisfying and memorable. The restaurant’s commitment to using Halal-certified ingredients and providing a Muslim-friendly environment makes it a unique and valuable addition to the dining scene in Kuala Lumpur. For anyone seeking a delicious Italian meal in a welcoming and inclusive setting, Positano Risto is a top choice.
