Utama Steamboat @ Bandar Utama : Awesome Place for Hotpot !

December 31, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

We recently visited a newly opened hotpot restaurant in town. Located between Avante Hotel and Shell Petrol Station,Utama Steamboat brings you a different steamboat concept that one definitely love.

With the open-air concept, the restaurant is located next to a prawn fishing place where one can enjoy their hotpot here once they had caught the prawns the next door.

Not just that, in here whats make it difference from other hotpot places is their vegetable are freshly pick from their farm.

Starting off with their hotpot, we enjoyed their hotpot set where they comes with the Set Meal or Ala-Carte Hotpot.

Started with their soup, they comes with the choice of 5 types of soup which one can try. This includes the Herbal Chicken Soup, Tomato Soup, Mushroom Soup, Tomyam Soup and the Superior Fish Soup. Each of their soup is specially curated by their chef ensuring using the premium ingredients to make it. The soup are priced at RM 15 per pot.

And for ingredients, one can choose a variety of choices of ingredients from their menu such as their homemade wanton, homemade fish balls and many more.

The worthy delights to order where one will specially fall in love is their handmade paste which includes the handmade prawn paste, fish paste, prawn wanton , chicken and mushroom paste and many more. Their paste are made in house using premium ingredients in their central kitchen.

Asides from that, do not missed their stuffed vegetables too which is another of their signatures. This includes the Lady Fingers with Fish Paste, Stuffed Taupok, and many more.

Besides enjoying their wholesome selection of their fresh ingredients, seafood lover can enjoy the some freshly handpicked fish from patin, tilapia and many more straight from their pond too.

Vegetables lover can choose their own vegetable and hand pick them directly to enjoy them in your hotpot.

For those who are looking for some stir fried dishes, they have too. We had their Steamed Patin Fish and the Deep Fried Talapia with Sweet and Sour Sauce.

The Steamed Patin Fish is marvelous where they are simply fresh and delicious. The fish remains the flaky texture and each bites of the fish comes so good and fresh. They are really good that I don’t mind ordering another one,

Asides from that, the Deep Fried Tilapia Fish  is beautifully deep fried till perfection leaving you with the crispy bites and top with the lovely sweet and sour sauce on top.

You can ends your meal with the sweetness overloaded homemade Chendol too.

Overall; the restaurant brings us with the marvelous experience where one should try. And they are also open to cater for events and parties too.
