Feast High In The Sky This Festive Season @ TRACE Restaurant & Bar.

December 15, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Tis the season for gingerbread houses, glittering lights, gathering with your loved ones, and spreading positive vibes! Make this an ultimate celebration with a warm reunion at one of the city’s highest restaurants – TRACE, located on 40th floor of Element Hotel Kuala Lumpur surrounded by unobtrusive views of the stunning cityscape of Kuala Lumpur.

Executive Chef Taib Ridhwan, together with his team will showcase their contemporary take of the festive menus. The buffet line-up features refreshing appetisers, breads accompanied by a variety of infused butters, soups, dishes from the grill and chasseur pot, carving station with creative side dishes and sauces, Asian favourites and festive desserts.

In line with Element by Westin and Marriott’s objective in reducing carbon footprints, Element Kuala Lumpur plays a part in supporting sustainability by increasing local sourcing. Its organic salad bar highlights produce that are grown by our environmentally responsible growers. Furthermore, 90% of the ingredients in overall menus are locally produced and sourced.

On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, pique your palate with some innovative flavours such as beetroot cured Atlantic salmon and cherry wood smoked duck on the cold platters. Apart from the must-have home-roast chicken with sage and orange, the baked Norwegian salmon Wellington, Austrian prime rib with jacket potato, seafood paella and rack of lamb persillade in pistachio crust are the few stars for this season. Pair these mains with unique accompaniments namely vanilla roasted sweet potatoes, garlic-mashed pumpkin, honey glazed chestnut and grilled jumbo asparagus, baby carrot and zucchini flower, along with a selection of seven types of sauces. Asian flavours are not forgotten – the crispy fish fillet with hawthorn berries sauce, lamb biryani and butter chicken Murgh Makhani add a touch of spice to the festivity.

End the meal with sweet novelty creations like the Buche de Noel (yule log), white forest and maraschino cherry roulade, basil crème brûlée and mocha, strawberry and chocolate profiteroles.
