Familiar to some simply as ‘Gugs’ and others by his IG handle Desktop Error, Gugs fell in love with cooking, inspired when watching his father cook for their family. He later worked in big brands such as Hyatt International and Longchim Singapore before finding his feet during the pandemic in KL and offering truly authentic Thai cuisine through Homm House No 8. His inner mantra is ‘Do your best’ and that’s what he will be doing in this collaboration of Southern Thai food and Malaysian East Coast cuisine with his good friend Zoe Rai.
Zoe Rai
Some of you may know chef Zoe Rai from his (now defunct) eponymous restaurant, Zoe. These days the Le Cordon Bleu chef freelances, popping up once in a while at special events such as this one. He loves feeding people, and in this dinner with his good friend Gugs, he is thrilled to showcase his beloved East Coast cuisine.
