Mr. & Mrs. Cafe New Chapter @ Cantara Residence

August 7, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Mr. & Mrs. Cafe New Chapter is one of our latest visits. For those who are not aware, Mr & Ms Café was founded back in 2013 where they are located in Oasis Square Ara Damansara. Being famed for their brunch, Mr & Mrs Café moved to Cantara residence where they had added in local delight in their menu to cater for family crowd or even couples with different breakfast preference.

In here; one can enjoy from the Aussie brunch (Big breakfast, egg benedict, shakshuka, waffle), western cuisine (Pasta, Mains, Burger & sandwiches), & local favourite breakfast (Roti Bakar, egg sandwich, nasi lemak, Mee Jawa) with the mix of premium coffee latte, or Kopitiam Kopi O all in Mr. & Mrs. Cafe New Chapter.

The restaurant brings you to concept where at the ground floor, it brings you with the kopitiam style while as you walk up, you are welcome with the cosy and elegant sitting. With the pale pastels of pink and rolex green, white and teal, the restaurant is indeed beautiful and relaxing. The restaurant brings you with the beautiful interior, and the sitting is simply cosy. It is highly recommended to visit the cafe in the morning as there is a double-decker seating arrangement that is exposed to natural sunlight and even a bird-cage-styled seating area where couples can take the perfect Instagram photo.

Egg Benedict (RM 26)

I am falling in love with the Egg Benedict. The English Muffin is beautifully topped with the guacamole, the choice of turkey ham or beef bacon together with mushrooms. Truss tomatoes, baby spinach, poached egg with the hollandaise sauce. The egg benedict is superbly good and I love the taste of it.

Wild Mushroom Soup (RM 17)

The wild mushroom comes awesomely delicious. The mushroom soup is completed with the aromatic blend of mushroom which is cooked with their secret recipe. The mushroom comes thick and fragrant. Sides with the sourdough garlic bread.

Avocado Garden Salad (RM23)

I am not really a salad lover but I love the salad here.  The mix garden lettuce is served together with the cucumber, truss tomatoes, avocado, baby spinach, mango, almond flakes and it is then showered with the balsamic dressing. The salad comes simply appetizing and we love them so much. Double thumbs up !

Aglio Olio Of Your Choice

Love the Aglio Olio where in Mr & Mrs, their spaghetti is cooked al-dente and perfectly sauteed with garlic, chlili flakes, olive oil and parmesan cheese. The Aglio Olio comes with the choice of Assorted Vegetables (RM18), Chicken Streaky (RM 22), Beef Bacon (RM 23), or Salmon (RM 29). The Aglio Olio comes superbly good and delicious where we clean the plate of aglio olio in minutes.

Norwegian Herb crust  Salmon (RM 44)

The lovely piece of salmon is worth to go for. The salmon is beautifully cook with the lemon garlic butter sauce, butter glazed seasonal vegetabes and sides with the mashed potatoes. The dish is indeed impressive where the salmon remains its flaky texture and every mouthful is so juicy.

Belgian Waffle (RM 15)

The Belgian Waffle is a must to go for. One can enjoy the Belgian Waffle which is served with the yogurt cream, strawberries, with the choice of salted caramel or chocolate sauce and drizzled with the almond flakes. Top them with your choice of ice cream where we have the pistachio ice cream which is a bomb.

Overall, food is awesomely good where they have wide selection of delights to go for. The ambience is perfect and we love the overall style and ambience.
