Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Chinatown is proud to present Luxuriant Luminescence for the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival. The limited-edition collection by award-winning Lady Yi’s Tea House brings forth all we wish for in abundance by introducing four premium mooncakes encased in intricately-designed elegant gift boxes, inspired by Abundance – a painting by renowned local artist, Lisa Wong, a true local of colourful Kuala Lumpur.

Lisa’s painting pays homage to the generosity of the Chinese people during this joyous season. Prominently featured on the painting is a porcelain vase featuring a leaping Jade Rabbit – a noble and benevolent character from Chinese folklore who lives on the moon with Chang-e, and always seen preparing the elixir of life for immortals. Surrounding the vase are numerous magnificent objects- amongst them a sliced mooncake – a delicacy that is always shared, never to be eaten alone. Abundance, therefore, is a visual and physical embodiment of what the Mid-Autumn festival is all about. As Luxuriant Luminescence means to yield abundantly in soft moonlight, Lisa’s work is the perfect artful illustration for the campaign.
Intricately designed and multi-functional, two versions of elegant gift boxes in Lady Yi’s signature jade colour are available for purchase this year – both inclusive of four traditionally-baked mooncakes.

For those who would like to purchase them individually, the premium mooncakes retail at RM33+ per piece.
