Hyatt TST – Cafe Presents The Crab Fiesta Themed Buffet

May 16, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Celebrate this summer season with a scrumptious array of crab specialities as Cafe serves up the Crab Fiesta Themed Buffet, available from 21 April – 31 July 2022.

Kick off the evening with crab-themed appetisers such as Crab meat salad with flying fish roe, Crab meat and green papaya salad in Thai style, warm and smooth Crab bisque and Crab chowder.

Refresh your senses at the seafood on ice station with chilled fresh Canadian snow crab legs, Scottish brown crabs, as well as other seasonal seafood such as New Zealand green lip mussels, Vietnamese prawns, Crayfish and the restaurant’s signature Boston lobster on ice with unlimited servings.

From the Japanese sushi and tempura station, guests should not miss the sumptuous Soft shell crab and cucumber roll, Crab meat and crab paste gunkan sushi and the crispy and juicy Deep-fried soft shell crab tempura.

For main dishes, guests can explore the Cantonese-style and garlicky Typhoon shelter mud crab, hot and exotic Singapore-style black pepper mud crab. Braised crab meat with broccoli, Fried rice with crab meat and egg white and the freshly baked Crab meat pizza with tomato and basil from the open kitchen’s oven.

At the live station, be impressed with Crab meat and crab roe risotto, fried and stirred on a huge Parmesan cheese wheel. The captivating crab umami is accentuated with the rich and nutty Parmesan cheese flavour.

Apart from the themed specialities, the buffet also features premium Japanese sashimi and sushi choices, a great selection of Chinese, Indian and Western culinary offerings, seasonal items from the tempura, grill and teppanyaki selections, as well as homemade desserts including the restaurant’s signature Swiss rolls and mille-feuille. Dinner patrons can also enjoy Duck foie gras teppanyaki, Tandoori lamb chops, Slow-roasted US beef ribs, Herb-roasted Western-style suckling pig, Roasted Peking duck and more.
