Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Chinatown celebrates the Holy Month with Bazar Selera

March 29, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

As the sun sets and the evening echoes with the call of prayer, discover Bazar Selera, a culinary marketplace back to the ancient Silk Road and nostalgic Malay flavors. Presenting a medley of Central Asian specialties with local bazaar and kampung favorites, Quan’s Kitchen at the Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Chinatown promises a lavish buffet spread of delectable traditional and international delights, evoking a sense of familiarity from the bazaars in the country that are often popular during this season.

Inspired by the country’s melting pot of culture, Sous Chef Meor Muhammad Syahir Meor Sahaid will take you on an epicurean journey back to the ancient trade route, which was once a major stopping point and important centre where intellectuals from all across the world gather to share ideas and exchange goods. The cross-cultural interactions and civilizations introduced a unique and complex fare using trade ingredients and cooking methods influenced by traders and conquerors in the early years.

This year, Quan Kitchen brings you with their appetizing starters where one can enjoy the awesomely delicious Acar Nyonya to comforting Bubur Lambok. Don’t miss out their crowd – favourites Seafood on Ice where they are piled high with their freshest mussels, prawns, scallops and crabs. They do have various types of kerabus suach as the Mangga Sotong, Ikan Bilis dan Betik Muda, Kerabu Timun Dan Udang Geragai, Udang Pucuk Ubi & Kelisik and many more.

Indulged with their mouth-watering mains to dig on and you will definitely fall in love includes Mongolian Roasted Whole Lamb served with Bukhari Rice, Braised Mediterranean Beef, Kambing Kuzi with peas, Kam Heong Flower Crab among many more.

Asides from that. One can enjoy their wide choices of delights which includes the Silken Toufu with Spicy Soya, Lan Zha Mien, Satay, Serunding, Otak Otak, and more.

Complete your dining experience with the sweet note with the repertoire of desserts. This is where one can enjoy the tarts, traditional cookies, agar agar Milo, Agar Agar Chendol, Coconut Chiffon, Assorted Malay Kuih Dodol Durian, Pisang Goreng, Kuih Cakar Ayam, Serawa Durian & Sago Pearl, traditional ice kachang, and many more.

Priced at RM158nett, Bazaar Selera is available for dine-in at Quan’s Kitchen from 2 April to 2 May 2022, daily between 6.30 pm – 10.30 pm. Purchase early bird vouchers at a special price of RM118nett, from 4 March till 1 April 2022.
