EXPERIENCE LIGHTS AND DELIGHTS AT PAVILION REIT MALLS THIS DEEPAVALI

October 21, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

Pavilion REIT Malls invites shoppers to celebrate the Festival of Lights this year with colourful decorations, vibrant kolam designs, delicious Indian cuisine, irresistible shopping deals and exclusive offers. Pavilion KL brings shoppers on a ‘Journey of Colours’ with a show-stopping 500-metre long Kolam Runway, community mall Da Men USJ celebrates with a colourful ‘Light of Happiness’ peacock kolam created by children, while Intermark Mall dazzles with a unique bejewelled kolam with their ‘Glorious Diwali’ decorations.

‘JOURNEY OF COLOURS’ AT PAVILION KUALA LUMPUR

From now till November 7, Malaysia’s premier shopping destination Pavilion KL presents ‘Journey of Colours’ in celebration of Deepavali’s vibrant and colourful kolams. The highlight of this year’s festive decorations is the first-ever 500-metre Kolam Runway that connects the precincts of Couture Pavilion and Connection, via the Pavilion Crystal Fountain, offering shoppers a colourful and dynamic Deepavali ambience. Strut your stuff and admire over 100 different designs along the Kolam Runway created by Raffles College and INTI University students. The vibrant kolam designs signify the beauty of Malaysia’s diversity, sacred symbols of the festival, as well as representations of the triumph of light over darkness.

Be sure to stop by and admire the blossoming beauty of the illuminated giant lotus flower kolam adorning the iconic Crystal Fountain and the Main Entrance. Symbolising eternity, purity, divine beauty and good fortune, the lotus flower kolam is expected to bring good luck to all visiting shoppers.

At the Bukit Bintang main entrance, shoppers are greeted by a traditional rice kolam depicting a vibrant rangoli design. Don’t forget to snap a selfie with the festive decorations and hashtags #PKLxJourneyOfColours #PavilionKL!

Share Deepavali festive greetings with your loved ones near and far with Pavilion KL’s festive WhatsApp stickers. Download the Deepavali stickers pack for free here.

Get rewarded when you shop for this Deepavali! Shoppers who spend RM100 in a single receipt at retail stores and F&B outlets will be gifted with a free ceramic coaster. While those who spend RM200 in a single receipt will receive a RM20 dining voucher.

Maybank cardholders can redeem a complimentary Corelle Serving Bowl Petite Trio with RM500 spent, or a Pyrex Casserole with Lid with RM1,000 spent in a single receipt.

Download the Pavilion KL Mobile App (available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store) and sign up for an account to stand a chance to win RM5,000 worth of cash vouchers.

‘LIGHTS OF HAPPINESS’ AT DA MEN USJ

In celebration of life and unity, Da Men USJ aims to showcase the triumph of good over darkness, with ‘Lights of Happiness’. The community mall proudly presents a colourful peacock kolam made from a combination of arts and crafts supplies and repurposed materials such as paper, bottle caps and used props. The beautiful kolam is made by children aged five to 12 years old from Global Art, who spent 200 hours creating the stunning 15ft by 15ft kolam design featuring a peacock, a symbol of beauty and elegance.

On weekends, shoppers can immerse themselves in a Deepavali experience, enjoying seasonal treats including snacks and clothes, as well as get decked out with henna designs at Da Men’s Deepavali Bazaar on the Lower Ground and Ground Floor. Bargain hunters head to clearance sales on the Ground Floor for plenty of lifestyle shopping.

There’s family fun for all at the Parents and Kids Art Craft Workshop hosted by Fabulous Kids Creative every weekend, in front of Toysku on the First Floor (pre-registration is required, check Da Men USJ’s Facebook page for more information). Eagle-eyed shoppers can also take part in the Da Men’s Lights of Happiness Peacock Contest. Count the number of peacocks on Da Men USJ’s Facebook page to stand the chance to win Suki-Ya cash vouchers worth RM20.

From now till November 7, shoppers spending RM180 and more in a single receipt (RM280 for Jaya Grocer) will receive a RM10 Food Arcade Voucher. With every additional RM100 in a max of two combined receipts, shoppers will receive additional RM10 vouchers (max 3 vouchers/shopper). With a min spend of RM380 (max 2 combined receipts), shoppers will receive a free Blue Eyes Coaster.
