Nasi Lemak Siu Yuk & Curry Flavour Siu Yuk @ Hog On The Fork

December 6, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

Are you a big fans of siu yuk?

I am for sure. And this time, I was being recommended delicious siu yuk from the brand Hog On The Fork. Hog On The Fork is one of the brands which they are famed for their siu yuk.

Behind the story of the Hog On The Fork, it is indeed a great family story where Ivan mum who is a Nyonya from Melaka is passionate in her cooking. And the mum has been roasting siu yuk as well as cooking their signature home made nasi lemak for friends and family in events over the years.

And Ivan had decided to combine both and bringing the nasi lemak with a twist. And with that, he worked hand in hand with family members to create an awesome recipe and consistent formula with his family.

With the passion, his brother in law helps to marinate the siew yok daily and the sambal and rice is prepared by his mom with love. And with this, they come up with the products of “Hog On The Fork”

Nasi Lemak Siu Yuk (RM 12.90 per pack | Bundle of 3 @ RM 35)

This time, I tried their nasi lemak which is double thumbs up. The nasi lemak comes really good and delicious and I love how they made the rice. The rice is complete fragrant where you can taste the nice taste santan in it. They are sides with their crispy-licious and melts in the mouth siew yok which is addictively good. It is well paired with the sambal which give you a umph.. The nasi lemak is only available from Monday – Saturday.

Curry Flavour (500g: RM 45 | 1kg : RM 80)

Asides from Nasi Lemak Siu Yuk, they also roast slabs of 500 g and 1kg everyday. And this year, in conjunction with Christmas; they comes up with their NEW recipe which is the Curry Siu Yok. The Curry Siu Yuk is perfectly marinated with the curry powder, curry leaf and of course their home recipes. The Curry Siu Yok is a bomb where I am perfectly addicted and finished the siu yuk with my family in less than 10 minutes. The siu yuk comes amazingly good where the meat is so juicy and the hint of light curry in it. With the curry leaf paired with it, and the crispy skin, I am just a happy girl crunching every bites of the meat itself. Yummz! The siu yuk is available daily

Sambal Jar (RM 9)

They also sell their sambal jar as well which is at RM 9 where you can have their nasi lemak with the sambal or even dipped your siu yuk with the sambal sauce.

Why not order them now! The siu yuk are available daily while nasi lemak will only be from Monday – Saturday. The orders are made at least 1 day ahead via whatsapp or you can contact them  from Ivan at 012-267 8007. Orders will be delivered for lunch from 11.30 am – 1.20 pm ( Monday – Sunday).

Deliveries are arranged by them and delivery will be charge according to distance. They also offers self pickup at 3 location which are Glenmarie residence,  Plaza damas & recently, Taman Tun Dr Ismail (due to mco).
