FatBoi Tavern @ Solaris Mont Kiara

November 2, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

Vibrant by day and even more so after dark, Kuala Lumpur sizzles to life when the sun goes down. If you are looking for a feel-good time with a bunch of friends or family, FatBoi Tavern is the place to be. FatBoi Tavern is a popular venue for the laten night circuit and is the place to be seen and heard. FatBoi Tavern pays homage to Hip Hop and RnB music which can be seen in the deco and vibe that it gives out.

Showcasing an endless line up of cuisine, FatBoi Tavern features a fusion of Asian & Western cuisine. And the restaurant serves you with great dishes at affordable price too!  They come up with the wide variety of dishes to go for from appetizers to main and also end with their gin!

We started our meals with their wide variety of appetizers where you can enjoy their signature nachos. One can enjoy the beautifully prepared nachos which is topped with the melted mozzarella and parmesan cheese and the homemade salsa. They are perfectly good and each mouthful is heavenly. They do have options of Chicken , Pork and Lamb too.

Wings (RM 16.80)

A must have here ! They  offer you with the chicken wings that comes with 3 choices of sauce – Honey Chipotle, Mad Hot and Salted Egg. For spicy lover; you can choose to go for the salted egg and for me, I love their Mad Hot for sure.

Calamari (RM 19.80)

The calamari is deliciously good ! They are beautifully deep fried till perfection and they are topped with the garlic aioli, chili sauce and the tartare sauce with it.

Piggie Fries (RM 20.80)

Nothing will go wrong with the piggy fries. They are the ultimate bites of the succulent pieces of the deep fried luncheon meat which is beautifully served with their special spices blended and served with mayonnaise. This is really good!

Moving to the main, we tried the combination of East and West too. As for the East , we tried  their Nasi Lemak Goreng (RM 12.80) which is served with the Homemade Onion Sambal Tossed Together with their fragrant Coconut Rice and Meat of your choice!

Spicy Pasta Pescatore (RM 22.80)

Asides from the Nasi Lemak, MUST Try is of course is their Spicy Paste Pescatore . I am totally in love with their delicious pasta where the spicy aglio olio is served together with the generous portion of seafood with it.

Pork Patty Pizza (RM 16.80)

The pizza comes simply generous and portion are huge too. One can enjoy their pork patty pizza which comes with the garlic pork sausage, luncheon meat and the mushroom confit. They are just perfect with the thin crust and perfect ingredients.

Fish & Chips (RM 22.80)

A dish which everyone love. And here, you can enjoy the Crispy Fish Fillet which is deep freid till golden brown and served with the straight cut fries, tartar sauce and wedged lemon. Delicious!

FatBoi Tavern has introduced a special line of 6 different gin combinations that are infused with herbs, spices and more at only RM15nett. You can sit back and choose from one of the below choices. The Kaffir lime & Asam Boi gaining popularity amongst patrons of both our outlets with its distinct taste that gives a lovely balance between sweet and sour with the Gin kicking in as you sip. A total steal at only RM15 nett

They do serve a variety of drink from beer, to cocktail and more. So, if you are looking for a nice place to enjoy with your friends and family; this is definitely the place.
