KidZania KL offers RM31 entry for 63rd Merdeka Promotion

August 25, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

Award-winning children’s indoor family centre – KidZania Kuala Lumpur is offering a Merdeka special to all young and young at heart alike. All visitors will enjoy an entrance fee of RM31 for all ticket types. Normally, the entrance tickets are RM50 for adults and RM95 for kids.

To enjoy the sizeable discount on the ticket prices, patrons will have to purchase them using the promo code: MYKZ31 between now and 31 August 2020 via ticketing.kidzania.com.my. The discounted passes are valid for use until 31 October 2020.

The promotion is in support of Tourism Selangor’s ongoing “Pusing Selangor Dulu” Tourism Campaign, enticing Selangorians and those living within the Klang Valley to have a great family day out.

“Since we reopened our doors in July, we have received roaring response from members of the public. We started out by honouring our frontliners by giving them free tickets and a considerable discount for their family members. Now, for the month of Merdeka, we would like to honour and recognise Malaysians who have done their part to combat the spread of Covid-19 by staying home and abiding by the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs),” said Shahrul Nizar Ahmad, Mayor of KidZania Kuala Lumpur.
“We understand that both children and parents have patiently endured cabin fever within the confines of their own homes for months now. With ongoing public school holidays, we decided to offer some reprieve for families to take the kids out for a bit of recreation and fun – something every child needs. So why not start local here in Selangor with KidZania!”
“On our part, KidZania continues to put public health and safety as its utmost priority, while ensuring families do not miss out on a day of wholesome and fun experience at Kidzania,” he said, adding that the centre adheres strictly to SOPs set by the Ministry of Health Malaysia, to ensure that visitors enjoy both a safe and exciting adventure at KidZania.
Shahrul assured the public that KidZania has put together comprehensive SOPs and guidelines for all its employees and visitors by training their workforce for this. Some of the meansures include detailed preparation and sanitisation by staff of all establishments and areas within KidZania’s premises. Stringent entry protocol for visitors and social distancing regulations will also be enforced, while the maximum number of people allowed will be limited at any given time. Hand sanitisers will also be strategically placed throughout the premises for guests’ use.
“We want everyone to have a great time at KidZania, and we realise our responsibility is great to ensure guests can do so in a safe environment. This is why we invested a considerable amount of time and effort to prepare a detailed list of SOPs and guidelines for our employees and visitors. As we will be limiting the number of visitors inside KidZania at any given time, we would encourage visitors to make advanced bookings to ease their entry process,” said Shahrul.
KidZania remains true to its ‘Learn Life Today’ philosophy, advocating a hands-on interactive experience and opportunity for children to learn new skills, while celebrating and harnessing their potential by combining inspiration, fun and learning through realistic role play.
