Restaurant Muar Road @ Sunway Pyramid

June 29, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

Located at the hidden place in Sunway Pyramid, Restaurant Muar Road is worth the try, The restaurant is simple in its decoration but it brings up the rustic look like you are walking around the street in the Muar Town. The restaurant comes with the simple design and theme up with a bicycle at the side of the shop.

By the name of “Muar Road”; the restaurant offers you with the famous must have food from Muar. One can enjoy the wide variety of choices of delights from Muar such as the Muar Otak Otak, Muar Curry Mee and many more.

Muar Otak Otak  (RM 1.20/stick)

And of course, the Otak Otak is a must to order here. We understand from the owner that the otak otak is prepared by their family for generations. The Otak Otak which is served in the restaurant are being imported all the way from Muar. The Otak Otak comes slightly spicy but they are indeed addictive.

Mee Siput (RM 5.90/2 pcs)

Next, we enjoyed the Mee Siput where this is really good. It is my first time trying the mee siput and it brings you with the crispy bites. The noodles are perfectly deep fried till perfection and every mouthful comes deliciously good. The taste is just so good that I wanted to enjoy more.

Curry Mee (RM 10.90)

The Curry Mee brings you with the choice of bihun or mee. It comes with the thick gravy and the scrumptious ingredients such a prawns, chicken meat, fish cake and many more. The broth is not too thick but it comes with the kick of spiciness in it which indeed giving a good umph to the dish itself.

Asides from their main dishes, they do have wide variety of desserts to go for. You can enjoy the Black Glutinous Rice, White Wheat Porridge, Chendol Ice and their Ais Kachang as well. Each of every item is cooked daily to ensure the best quality being served. Personally, I love their Chendol and Red Bean Soup as they are not too sweet.

For those who are looking for some affordable dining around Sunway Pyramid, Restaurant Muar Road is definitely a place to visit to crave your Muar Otak Otak.
