Quan Kitchen @ Chinatown

January 1, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

Located in the heart of Chinatown, Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Chinatown has a restaurant, outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and bar in Kuala Lumpur.  And this time, we visit their all day dining by the name of Quan Kitchen.

Quan Kitchen is one of their All- day dining featuring our take on traditional culinary specialties from Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown with an open theatrical kitchen that is sure to delight.  Bringing you with the wide choices of food in one goal, Quan Kitchen definitely have something for everyone.

Otak Otak (RM 25)

Being one of the signature, one can enjoy the otak otak which is made from minced fish and prawns. They are then grilled and sides with the Mango Coriander Salad, Tapioca Crisp and Sambal. It’s taste comes simply delicious and made me feel like having more!

Spring Roll Peking Duck (RM 23)

Instead of the normal Spring Roll, Quan Kitchen offers you with a different style of spring roll where the spring roll is rolled with the roasted duck and served with sweet turnip, scallions and hoi sin sauce.

Petaling Street Fried Rice (RM 25)

Petaling Street  Fried Rice is one of our favourite as well. The fried rice is fragrantly fried till perfection leaving you with the aromatic texture and wok hei. Served with the egg, shrimp, fishcakes, pickled acar, crispy spiced chicken and crackers. Yummy!

Sticky Dried Chili Chicken (RM 25)

One must not miss out the delicious bowl of aromatic claypot chicken rice. Enjoy the awesome steamed jasmine rice which is served together with the cubes of chicken, bell peppers, cashew nuts and crackers.

Pan Seared Salmon (RM 40)

The pan seared salmon is perfect to our tastebuds where they flaky salmon is served together with the sautéed vegetable, tomato confit, and the chimchurri sauce. Nice and perfect!

Supreme Burger (RM 45)

One of their signatures is their Supreme Burger. Grab this awesome Black Angus beef which is packed with the juiciness and it is well sandwiched with the caramelised onion, gherkin, cheese, and the pommery aioli and their soft fluffy sesame bun.

Old Fashioned Chocolate Cake  (RM 20)

The old fashion chocolate cake is such a perfect indulgence. The chocolate cake is perfectly baked and topped with the classic vanila sauce and the berry compote.

Sago Pudding (RM 20)

One of my favourites of the night. I love how the sago pudding is done where they are well made with the pandan sago, served with the palm sugar, coconut, desiccated coconut and topped with the kuih bahulu.

Chendol (RM 18)

The chendol is served with the palm sugar, coconut milk, red beans, sweet corn, and topped with the vanila ice cream.

Waffle Sundae (RM 18)

One can enjoy the deliciously made waffle which comes simply fluffy and you can have them with your choice of ice cream such as teh tarik, cempedak, pandan, vanilla or strawberry.

For those who are looking for a nice comfort dining in Chinatown, Quan Kitchen offers you with the wide spread of menu from local to western.
