Journey to Marco Polo with Le Petite Chef

January 30, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

It is one of the great experience where we get our first time dining at the le Petite Chef. Located at the TREC, Element buy you with a 60 minutes food experience which is on a 3D projection mapping. It is the first restaurant in South East Asia offers this awesome experience where one should not missed.

Who is Le Petite Chef?
Le Petit Chef is an innovative dining experience that tells the story of a small animated chef, who is brought to life using 3D projection technology. And for those who are not aware, Le Petit Chef has been a feature in cities like Toronto, Cologne, Basel, London and Stockholm, to name a few. The five-course dining experience runs for 90 minutes.

And this time, we started off with a series of delicious meal accompanied with a great story on how this little chef travelled over the Silk Road.  The Journey Begins with the great story on how the chef made his own delights where we started of with the Japanese Oyster Cream, together with the Cucumber Jelly, Cavair. Served together with the Fourme D’ambert, Toasted Walnut Brioche and Honeycomb

After started the journey, Le Petite Chef travelled all the way to Middle Eastern where we got to enjoy the lovely plater full of spices. We enjoyed the Charcoal Roasted Beetroot, Chickepea, Hummus, Parsley, Feta Cheese, Marinated Lamb Kebab, Lamb Shank Ragout, Pomegranate and served with the yogurt dip, Lebanese Onions, Raisins, Smoked Duck, Hazelnut, Cuming Spice and Pita Bread.

Moving on, we traveled with the little chef to India where we got to sample this little chef made rasam, polos salmon, tikka and the papapdam. It is simply an interesting menu to try  .

To clear your tastebuds, we moved over to the Himalayan where we are served with the NO2 Raspberry Sorbet which is served together with the Kaffir Lime Soda and mint leaf with it.

Next, we ended in China to enjoy the Corn Fed Chicken, together with the Monkey Ear Mushroom with the candied ginger, Mushroom Foam, baby leek and the rice noodles.

Finally, we are back to where the little chef belong – France. And Le Petite Chef brings you with his signature desserts which is the Tonka Crème Brulee, together with the Choclate Mousse, Blackberry and Freeze Dried Orange.

With a maximum seating capacity of 36 people per session, tickets can only be bought online and are priced at RM299.00 per head for Marco Polo’s Journey, RM499.00 for Marco Polo’s Expedition and RM999.00 for Marco Polo’s Around the World.
