Immerse in a Parisian Floral Summer at The Langham, Hong Kong with Glow-in-Rose Afternoon Tea with BY TERRY

June 3, 2019 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Promotion Leave a Comment

Introducing a Parisian summer experience this June, The Langham, Hong Kong is launching the Glow-in-Rose Afternoon Tea in partnership with the French luxury beauty brand BY TERRY. Inspired by BY TERRY’s latest Glow-in-Rose summer collection, the sophistically designed tea set features a variety of alluring sweet and savoury treats and will be available at the famed Palm Court lobby lounge from 1 June until 31 July 2019.

Headlining the concept of the new afternoon tea is the iconic pink rose, a symbol of beauty and femininity. Referencing to the rose-based technology infusion into the Glow-in-Rose summer collection, The Langham, Hong Kong’s talented Executive Pastry Chef David Puig has meticulously crafted a range of exquisite sweets to delight the sweet tooth.

Unlock The Hidden Pearl, a blueberry butter cream French macaron in the unique shape of a seashell with a white chocolate silver pearl, which pay tribute to one of the three BY TERRY’s hero ingredients – Tahitian Black Pearl. The Apricot Glow and Rose Elixir echo the two popular shades of the latest limited edition Brightening CC Powder Case. The former is the Greek yogurt and vanilla mousse with apricot compote and genoise sponge, while the latter is crispy sugar dough topped with strawberry mousse, confit and pistachio. The mirror glaze Shadows of Pink is the white peach mousse with coconut daquoise, garnished with dried rose petals. The Floral Kiss with raspberry, rose and lychee white chocolate ganache bonbon adds a playful touch of pink to the tea set, while resembling the sexy lips on the pouch giveaway.

Set to tickle the taste buds, a tantalising range of savoury items include Marinated sustainable Balik style salmon with crème fraiche, dill and capers; Egg sandwich with Beluga caviar and chives; Foie micuit with pistachio and crispy puff pastry mille-feuille; and Cheese and Iberico Ham savoury muffin.

All tea sets come with warm plain and raisin scones fresh from Palm Court’s very own bakery served with Devonshire clotted cream, strawberry jam and artisanal rose preserve.

Guests who purchase a tea set for two will receive one voucher to redeem a set of BY TERRY Limited Edition Pouch with a Baume de Rose Beauty-To-Go Lip Gloss, which can be collected from selected three BY TERRY counters in Hong Kong, including the closest one in Harbour City Facesss BY TERRY Counter, while stocks last.

The Glow-in-Rose Afternoon Tea with BY TERRY is available at Palm Court on weekdays from 3:00 – 5:30 p.m., and on weekends and public holidays in two sittings, from 2:15 – 4:15 p.m. and 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. The tea set is priced at HK$368 for one person and HK$628 for two persons, while an upgrade with Perrier-Jouët, NV, Brut Champagne is priced at HK$548 for one person and HK$918 for two persons. All prices are subject to 10% service charge
