An “ARTEASTIC” Hi Tea Experience at TRACE

June 14, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

If you are a big fan of desserts, hop to The Element By Westin for a divinely delicious hi – tea with the touch of ART in it. The name ARTEASTRY starts for Art, Tea and Pastry where it sets to brings you with the modern touch and also a memorable hi-tea to go for.

Artistic features of Elements Kuala Lumpur. Located at level 40 of the tallest eco- friendly Hotel, TRACE Restaurant & Bar offers a one of a kind high tea experience with the breath-taking views of the city.

We started off with the arrival of the contemporary black clay slate, decorated green grass and smoky dry ice. Enjoy these awesomely delicious cold savouries such as Smoked Salmon Bagel, Chicken Lyoner on Focaccia Bread, Vegetable Wrap and Rolls served with Sweet Chili Dip.  Each of it comes amazingly good especially the Smoked Salmon Bagel. The Salmon comes simply fresh and every mouthful filled with umami taste of it and addictively delicious too.

Next, we are served with the Hot Savoury Sensation where this savoury sensation comes with the mix of Beef Sliders with charcoal bun, shepherd pie, black pepper chicken pie and the lemongrass spiced fish.  The Black Pepper Chicken Pie impressed me as it brings me with the hint of spiciness and umphh. Love every delicious bite of it.  And of course, one should have their scones too which comes light and fluffy. Have them served with the whipped cream and chocolate ganache and this will definitely be guaranteed to fall in love with every bite of it.

And the highlights is of course the Arteastry Experience which is what essentially sets the high tea apart from your usual hi-tea spreads or three-tiered hi-tea. While you are sipping your coffee or tea, watch the chef do the arts. Firstly, we are served with the green-tinted chocolate sphere and then the chef paints the arts with the variety of colors by using the chocolate sauce, raspberry confit, lemon flavoured macaroons, sweets, chocolate soil, marshmallow, as well as sponge square and mango chutney on top of the piece of newspaper -like food grade paper.  And to end the theatrical performance,
we ended drizzled the warm chocolate and watch it melts into a delectable mess on the table. It is not just about delicious sweet cravings but we do have fun ploying around with the desserts as well.
The ARTEASTRY is priced at RM 128 nett for 2 pax and it will be available only on weekends ( Saturday & Sunday) & Public Holiday from 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm at the TRACE Restaurant & Bar, Elements KL
