Zuan Yuan Welcomes the Brand New Chef

March 17, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Zuan Yuan Chinese Restaurant of One World Hotel recently welcomed Tommy Choong as Executive Chinese Chef. And in here one can brings you with the delighting offerings and 20 years of expertise in Chinese Cuisine.  And for the month of March, he is proud to debut some of his masterpiece to all the guests.

Pan Fried Omelette with Oyster, Thai Basil Leaves and Mayonnaise Dressing

One of the signatures here is the Pan-Fried Omelette with Oyster, Thai Basil Leaves and Mayonnaise Dressing. The fresh oysters are beautifully pan fried till perfection and topped with omelette and thai basil. It is then topped with the mayonnaise dressing. The oyster comes simply juicy with the complete flavorful taste from omelette and mayonnaise dressing.

Braised Superior Soap with Dumpling and Saffron Flower

We enjoyed the delicious bowl of soup which complete with beautiful and juicy dumpling. The dumpling is made from minced scallop, fish meat together with prawns in it. The dumpling comes simply juicy and moist. Each mouthful is perfect and the soup comes soothing and good.

Pan Fried Cubed Tenderloin Served with Chef’s Signature Sauce

Using the premium cuts of tenderloin, they are beautifully pan fried till perfection and the meat is so tender and juicy. It is served together with the caramelized walnut makes the overall makes the dish an indulgence.

Stir-Fried Australian Asparagus with Assorted Mushrooms and Truffle Jus

Light and appetizing. The crunchy Australian Asparagus is beautifully cooked till aromatic and crispy. The dish comes amazing good especially with the hint of truffle in it.

Crispy Fish Cake with Minced Baby Cabbage served with Sweet Bean Sauce

The awesome crispy fish cake which is beautifully made comes awesomely good where it brings you with the fragrant blend. Served together with the Chef’ homemade Sweet Bean Sauce which is well-paired with the fish cake itself.

Braised 12 Head Abalone with Wild Rice wrapped in Lotus Leaf

I am in love with this where the rice comes simply fluffy with the aromatic hint in it. The wild rice are imported from Canada  and using the long wild rice, the texture will be more fluffy and nicer. And this time, chef had added both the glutinous rice  and wild rice together, it makes the rice texture even better and delicious. Chef Choong had also wrapped them with the lotus leaf and steamed them so that the aromas from the lotus leaf are well absorb to the rice itself. To add to the luxury, Chef Choong added a Braised 12 Head Abalone on top.

Overall, Zuan Yuan offers you with their exciting new menu which definitely tempt you till the fullest. Diners are encouraged to make reservation in advance to avoid disappointment. For reservations and further inquiries such as discount or promotions, please call 603 – 7681 1159 or email to [email protected]
