Suite Living at The Sukhothai Shanghai

March 15, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

The Sukhothai Shanghai, a contemporary lifestyle hotel under The Sukhothai Hotels & Resorts of HKR International, unveils its Premier Suite and two signature suites, The Loft and The Attic, taking the brand’s hallmark hospitality to a new level.

Designed by the internationally-acclaimed architecture and design practice Neri&Hu, the residential-style suites are complete with a tastefully-appointed living area with separate sitting and dining spaces, a bedroom with harmonious atmosphere designed for complete relaxation with 800-thread-count linens and desk accessories from silversmith Christofle, as well as a statement ensuite open bathroom with beauty amenities including Dyson supersonic hairdryer and Themae bath products formulated with rare teas. Other superior in-room amenities include advanced in-room control technology with intuitive interface, wireless high-speed internet connection, in-room refreshment and wine bar, and 24-hour butler service. Every detail is thoughtfully-crafted to create a serene oasis amidst the urban hustle, in response to the evolving expectation of luxury hospitality defined by discerning travellers and tastemakers in a new era.

Boasting some of the largest hotel accommodations in the city with Premier Suite measuring 124 square-metres and The Loft and The Attic at 172 square-metres, each of the three iconic suites displays a timeless aesthetic sense of simplicity, elegance and sophistication, while articulating the concept of gardens through an intriguing yet thoughtful play of form, material, colour and texture. The interior features rich textual contrast of materiality including the crisp white Bleu de Savoie marble, smoked oak, terrazzo/ natural stones and polished brass, to give the space an exquisite charm and warmth, while emphasising geometric simplicity in the architecture to seamlessly align with the distinctive design philosophy of the hotel. The well-appointed suites are also adorned with custom-made designer furnishings and lighting fixtures handpicked to ensure coherence, original art pieces created by local and international artists to tell stories inspired by nature, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows that offer full-length views of the city.

To further elevate the experience, The Loft and The Attic also feature a kitchenette equipped with tableware from France’s master of table art Degrenne, 85” Bang & Olufsen high-definition television with sound amplifier and on-demand access to media and infotainment content through IPTV. One suite is connected to a premier room to become a two-bedroom suite for the convenience of families.

To mark the launch of the suites, guests may enjoy an introductory offer with daily breakfast, guaranteed 24-hour stay, welcome fruits and champagne, happy hours at Beans & Grapes, round-trip airport transfer, spa treatment for two and 15% discount at The Retreat, afternoon tea at URBAN Lounge, use of meeting rooms, along with a host of complimentary guest services and discounts. The offer is available until September 30, 2019.
