Dorsett Grand Subang

For the auspicious Spring Festival celebration, the culinary teams at all the Dorsett and Silka Hotels in the city has whipped up a series of celebratory Lunar New Year menus and the traditional must-have Toss of Prosperity dish (Yee Sang) to cater to the palate and budget of KLites.

Kick start the Chinese New Year celebration to shouts of ‘Lou Hei! Lou Sang!’ with Dorsett Grand Subang’s signature Yee Sang of Salmon, Soft Shell Crab, Korean Pear, Pink Prawns or Jellyfish as the ‘star’ ingredient with choice of Thai or traditional Plum Sauce.   Available for dine-in or takeaway to toss to prosperity, wealth and good health at home from just RM58 nett per portion

Befitting the celebration is of course is the symbolic dish of Poon Choi, comprising a host of premium ingredients to lend flavour and auspicious overtones to the lunch and dinner gathering: Braised Abalone, Sea Cucumber, Dried Scallops, Dried Oysters, Black Moss, Fish Maw, Black Mushroom, Yam, Roasted Crispy Chicken and Duck, White Radish, Braised Bean Curd Stick, Chinese Cabbage, Fatt Choy Fish Ball, Broccoli and Fresh White-Water Prawn, all slow-cooked with The Emperor’s signature broth.  The Poon Chooi dish comes in the form of a 6-course for 4 to 6 persons priced at RM988 nett and 7 to 10 persons for RM1388 nett.

Whether you are planning a Reunion Lunch, Dinner or just a get-together throughout the 15 days of the  Lunar New Year celebration, The Emperor Restaurant is not short of set menus to cater to everyone.  Check out the equally scrumptious line up of symbolic dishes featured in the Standard, Deluxe and Premium Set Menus priced from RM1288 nett per table of 10 persons, RM1588 nett and RM1,888 nett respectively.  A special Chinese New Year a-la-carte menu is also available and for diners opting for the set menus; they are entitled to an ‘Ang Pow’ draw from the Tree of Prosperity.
