The multi-award winning One World Hotel is thrilled to announce its recent success at the 25th World Travel Awards Asia & Australasia Gala Ceremony 2018, retaining its prestigious Asia’s Leading Meeting & Conference Hotel title for the fifth time. One World Hotel has defeated five other first-class establishments and automatically qualified for the Grand Final, due to take place on the 1st December 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal. Hotel owner and director, YBhg Tan Sri Dato’ Teo Chiang Hong collected the award on behalf of the organisation at the red carpet gala event staged at the newly-refurbished InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong.
Hundreds of leading figures from Asia and Australasia’s travel and tourism industries witnessed the ceremony. The glamorous evening marked the third leg of the World Travel Awards Grand Tour 2018 – a series of regional events to acknowledge the world’s outstanding travel brands which include Middle East, Europe, Latin America, Caribbean & North America and Africa & Indian Ocean. The regional winners will then compete at the Grand Final 2018.
