JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Introduces Fun and Fantasy to Wedding Celebrations

July 5, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

The first international five-star resort on the idyllic Phu Quoc island, JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay offers a variety of fantasy-filled settings for couples to stage a memorable wedding.

Couples can choose a romantic beachside wedding. As the waves crash and the tropical wind blows, couples exchange vows while guests enjoy cocktails and sample dishes from live barbecue stations dotted along the white sandy beaches. Making the most of the resort’s French colonial-inspired architecture, the terrace of the Department of Chemistry is perfect for intimate ceremonies, complemented by sunset views and live music.  The resort’s outdoor pools also provide an ideal outdoor setting for celebrations with calming waters and inspiring vistas of Bai Kem beach.

For more formal functions, the Lamarck Grand Auditorium – the resort’s luxurious, high-ceilinged ballroom – is the venue of choice.  Spanning an impressive 688 m², the Auditorium can welcome up to 420 seated guests for an extravagant celebration. Surrounded by vintage atlases and designed to resemble a medieval school hall, this multipurpose venue can be configured for events of any size, from intimate dinner parties to lavish gatherings. To ensure the success of every event, a Catering and Conference Services Manager is available to answer requests and personalise each celebration.

For a memorable banquet dinner or a completely out-of-the-box themed function, couples can host an elaborate feast on the resort’s campus-styled Lamarck Running Track. Replicating an authentic sports track, complete with manicured lawns and scenic outdoor architecture, the setting provides  an unconventional backdrop for couples to exchange vows. Another enchanting venue, Pink Pearl Terrace, promises an intimate setting in an idyllic, secluded tropical garden where everlasting declarations can unfold in front of family and friends.

A whimsical party in paradise can be created with several package options.

Starting from VND 338,000,000++ (USD 14,800), “Crystal Romance” includes a reception and beachside ceremony for up to 50 guests, with pre-dinner cocktails and canapes, dinner menu, three-hour beverage package and three-tier wedding cake. The bride and groom also enjoy a two-night stay in an Emerald Bay Front Room, professional wedding planning services, and complimentary airport transfers.

“Emerald Romance” offers a distinctive reception and wedding ceremony for up to 50 guests. Brides and grooms retreat to a Turquoise Suite for two nights while their every need is met by a private butler. The couple also receive a complimentary 60-minute spa treatment for two and an exclusive Lamarck University wedding gift. “Emerald Romance” starts at VND 452,000,000++ (USD 20,000) and each additional guest can be accommodated with a starting fee of VND 6,400,000++ (USD 280).

“Turquoise Romance” includes more opulent options such as a jazz band during reception and the ceremony, a five-tier wedding cake, bonfire set-up on the beach, and customised chocolates and giveaways for guests. During their stay, the bride and groom can relax in a one-bedroom villa and enjoy a complimentary romantic dinner for two on the beach. “Turquoise Romance” starts at VND679,000,000++ (USD 30,000) for up to 50 guests, and extra guests can be accommodated from VND7,950,000++ (USD 350) per person.

Direct flights are now available between the island and regional gateway cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Moscow and Stockholm, making this paradise on earth accessible to guests from around the world.
