Spargelzeit is another name given for White Asparagus. This Rare Vegetables in from German and it is our first time trying it. They are harvested from about mid-April to the end of June. And these white asparagus grow entirely surrounded by earth, which protects the slender stalks from sunlight exposure and keeps them from turning green. This also affects the subtle flavor of it.
And now you can enjoy these awesome asparagus now in Brotzeit German Bier Bar & Restaurant. And we are now enjoying these awesome dishes here. We started of course with the their Spargelsuppe. The delicious and creamy asparagus soup is just perfect to my liking. I love the creamy taste of it and it is also very light as well.
And of course, we enjoyed the Der Spargel-Klassiker where the dish is perfectly poached till perfection, and it is then being drizzled with their signature hollandaise sauce. Sides with the parsley potatoes with it.
And in here, you can enjoy your Der Spargel-Klassiker (Classic White Asparagus) together with some sides. Some of the selection includes Baked Leg Ham, Scramble Eggs with Numberger Sausage, Bacon-wrapped Pork Medallions, Wiener Schnitzel, Smoked Tyrolienne Speck, Pan-seared Seabass fillet and Norwegian Smoked Salmon.
For small eaters, you can consider getting the Spargel im Speckmantel where the 2 sticks of bacon-wrapped white asparagus with potato salad. It makes the dish even much more flavorful with this and it is just so appetizing.
