Osaka Kitchen @ J’s Gate Dining : Okonomiyaki all the way from Osaka!

June 23, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

For those who are big fans of Japanese Delights, why not visit the J’s Gate Dining. And if you are not aware, J’s Gate Dining brings you with 18 Japan’s Best Specialty Restaurant where you will be enjoying the authentic the delicious Japanese Cuisine with high quality ingredients and great hospitality and lively atmosphere.

One of the restaurant in J’s Gate Dining is of course Osaka Kitchen where they are one of the brand from Japan. Osaka Kitchen is one of the famous brand in Japan where they are famed for their teppanyaki and what’s more is where they are using the fresh ingredients sourced all the way from Japan includes their finest quality of meat.

Okonomiyaki is of course the highlight here and in here they have a variety of set meals deal that cater to your needs. The set comes with the Appetizer, Seared Specialty Sesame Tofu, Japanese Omelet with Pork Belly and Grilled Avocado with Melted Cheese.

And we had the Chicken Set ( RM 37) where the chicken set comes completely with all the delicious combination. We started with the refreshing salad which is superbly good. The Seared Specialty Sesame Tofu is another must have here. The tofu comes with the crispy skin and moist and juicy. The tofu is uniquely done but indeed is one of our favorites as well.

We are then being served with their Japanese Omelet with Pork Belly. This is sinfully addictive and I wanted more of this. The Japanese Omelet comes perfectly good with the fragrant flavours from the egg itself together with the pork belly in it. This is such an indulgence.

Grilled Avocado with Melted Cheese.
The Grilled Avocado with Melted Cheese is another must try item. Enjoy the creamy bites of avocado together with the creamy cheese with it. Awesomely prepared and love the creaminess of it.

Chicken Leg
The chicken leg is well pan fried till perfection leaving you with the moist texture and also the chicken meat comes simply tender. The dish is amazingly good and addictive where I would give a double thumb up.

For those who are not fans of chicken, you can opt to change to the Beef Sirloin Set (100g) (RM 160) instead. Enjoy the tender juicy beef which give you with the melts in the mouth sensation. This is superbly delicious and addictively good.

And of course, don’t miss out the Okonomiyaki for sure. And in here they have pork okonomiyaki, Pork & Squid Okonomiyaki, Mix Okonomiyaki and the Osaka Kitchen’s Special Okonomiyaki. We had ours which is the Pork Okonomiyaki. This is where chef had made the flour together with the grated nagaimo, egs, dashi, and also shredded cabbage. It is then being topped with the green onion, pork belly, vegetables on top.  And then it is topped with the otafuku / Okonomiyaki sauce, aonari, bonito flakes and Japanese mayoinese on top. Sinfully good and tempting.

Ends your meal with their selection of ice cream. And this time, they have two choice which are the Vanilla Ice Cream and also the Yuzu Ice Cream. Refreshing!
