Music lovers are in for a real treat as iconic Indonesian band, Kahitna, is set to appear live on stage for a music show at Bali International Convention Centre, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali on Friday, 6th July 2018. The event promises to be an uplifting evening of easy listening tunes with the group performing many of its chart-topping hits.
Founded in 1986, Kahitna has made a lasting impression on the local music scene with a collection of love themed songs. As skilled musicians, the band is also known for its versatile sound that combines elements of jazz, pop, Latin and traditional music.
Having wowed audiences for more than 30 years, Kahitna will bring back memories for many fans at the resort with classic songs like Cerita Cinta and Soulmate. The band will also be performing some newer material that is sure to resonate with younger listeners.
The concert will be opened by 2018 Indonesian Idol, Maria Simorangkir, who has her own following. At just 16 years of age, this soulful singer has a strong voice and is known to take on powerhouse songs by Celine Dion and Whitney Houston.
