Grand Imperial @ Sunway Velocity : Your choice for Wedding Banquet and CNY

February 6, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

Grand Imperial is not something new for all of us. This Chinese Restaurant is famed for its wedding, or anytime dinner. There is no doubt of visiting Grand Imperial for the hearty meal with your family and friends but they offer more than that from banquet to wedding dinner.

With the high capacity of sitting space, there is no problem for you to book your table here where they have private rooms, ballrooms and more. And what’s more is the restaurant offers you with the wide variety choices of delights at any occasion. For this Chinese New Year, Grand Imperial offers you with the wide choices of set meals as well. We sample some of their signatures for this round.

Yee Sang with White Bait Fish and Japanese Sesame
Enjoy the fresh yee sang here where they are completed with the lovely bites of the white bites together with the generous portion of fresh vegetables, with loads of the Japanese Sesame. Simply awesome!

Grand Imperial Lobster Combination
Enjoy the lovely platter, and Instagram friendly lobster. Chef had made a beautiful twist to the lobster itself where the lobster meat is moist and juicy. Not just that, they are sides with the steamed lobster claws. Nicely done!

Steamed Rice with Chinese Waxed Meat
Here comes the hearty bowl of rice which are served with the generous portion of vegetables together with the waxed meat on it. Moist and juicy texture.

Roasted Crispy Suckling Pig
Never say never to suckling pig! The suckling pig is just awesomely good where they have the moist and juicy texture of the meat while the skin brings me with the crackling crispy bites.

And of course, we ended with the Chinese New Year desserts. What you can enjoy includes the Deep Fried Nian Gao with Sweet Potato, Steamed Nian Gao with Shredded Coconut and the Black Sesame Glutinous Rice with Read Bean Soup.
