This year, Newens Tea House have more surprises for you. Catering to those who enjoy and appreciate the finer things in life, Newens has curated a variety of delectable artisan delicacies through its A Journey Through Tea series for the whole year, beginning with the Traditional English High Tea, Spring in China Tea and Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea for the first three months.

For the month of January, Newens Tea House brings you with the Traditional English High Tea where one can indulge the tiers of the classical favorites featuring Chocolate Flavoured Maids Of Honour Tart, Apple Flavoured Maids Of Honour Tart, Scones served with Clotted Cream and Preserves, Finger Sandwiches filled with Salmon, Beef and Cucumber, Cheese with Crackers, English Trifle, Red Velvet Cake and Lemon Meringue Tart. High tea is accompanied with free-flow of the rich and piquant Orange Pekoe Tea.

And for the month of February; Newens Tea House created hi-tea in Chinese style to theme up with the  Lunar New Year in February. With this,  Newens introduces Spring in China Tea. Cascading down the three-tiered cake stand are flavourful pastries and oriental specialities such as the Shanghainese Sizzling Chicken Dumplings, Osmanthus Flower Jelly with Water Chestnuts, Steamed Layer Cake with Custard Cream and Salted Egg Yolk, Baked Crispy Chicken Puffs, Baked Egg Tarts, Pineapple Tarts and Fruit Cake. This is complemented with free-flow of Pai Mu Tan tea, also known as white peony which is a sweet, mild Chinese tea made from unopened tea buds.

And for March 2018 ; you will be having a taste of Japan. To commemorate the season of cherry blossom in Japan, Newens will be serving a Japanese-inspired tea for the month of March. Tea connoisseurs can relish their cravings with the Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea which features delicious Sakura-Themed Mini Cakes, California Hand Rolls, Salmon Sashimi, Makimono Tamago – Omelettes in a Roll, Makimono Kani – Crabmeat in a Roll and Pralines. This afternoon tea experience comes paired with free-flow of the aromatic Wild Cherry Tea.

These thematic tea experiences are available throughout each respective month from 2.30pm to 5.30pm at MYR 150 nett per set.
