IPC Shopping Centre Offers ‘So Much More’ with Redevelopment

January 31, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

Bringing you more than just a shopping centre, IPC Shopping Centre brings you a new look and a centre-wide upgrade. With the beautiful upgrade from IPC that set to create a fun, inspirational and great day out for shoppers and the community alike.

It is the culmination of an extremely ambitious project, one of the biggest shopping centre redevelopments in the region, with a RM200 million investment into the centre including the surrounding landscaping and community infrastructure. And with this, IPC becomes one of my favorite shopping destination in Klang Valley.

Why I love shopping in IPC?

1) More shopping choices

– Popular Bookstore-
-Toy’s R Us –
– Harvey Norman-
-Brands Outlet-
Ben’s Independent Grocer (B.I.G.)

Shoppers are in for a treat with 145 stores including new, extended and refreshed F&B concepts, fashion and beauty retailers, and lifestyle outlets. As for returning store they have the Harvey Norman, Popular Bookstore, Padini, Brands Outlet, Spotlight and Ace Hardware. New tenants include Ben’s Independent Grocer (B.I.G.), Watsons, Cotton On, LC Waikiki, and Skechers’ largest flagship store in Southeast Asia.

2) More Food Outlets

– Hana Japanese Dining-
-IKEA Cafe-

They have loads of food outlets to go for as well. Fans of Japanese food will be pamper with the Hana Dining. Asides, they have Magnum Store, IKEA Café, Watsons, Paradise Dynasty, Suki-Ya, Ichiban Ramen and Magnum Café. Shoppers will also be thrilled to see returning local favourites – Kluang Station, Uncle Lim, Absolute Thai, Noodle Shack, Nando’s, Starbucks and Dome.

3) New and Improved Facilities

And I can say the brand NEW IPC feels just like HOME. This includes smaller details that make shopping great such as improved security, accessibility, convenience and comfort. Besides this, the redevelopment also includes a guided parking system, additional seating areas and family-friendly facilities like a kid entrance, revamped family rooms and a designated play area called Funland for little ones.

4) Sustainable Living for Sustainable Shoppers

IPC Shopping Centre continues its efforts to better care for the environment with an upgraded Recycling & Buy Back Centre and newly installed solar panels that will contribute to ambitious annual energy saving targets.

IPC Shopping Centre is also currently in the process of obtaining official green building certification from Malaysia’s Green Building Index (GBI) and the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED Gold).

5) Variety of Events to cater to the crowd

IPC had also lined up a variety of activities and events for this year. And as CNY is coming soon, IPC  also introduce ‘A Tale of Great Fortune’ themed Chinese New Year celebration with colourful decorations around the shopping centre. Shoppers will be treated to a month filled with exciting giveaways and activities such as traditional lion dance, crafts activities for kids, traditional Chinese art workshops, and Chinese orchestra performances.
