Drop Exchange @ Solaris Mont Kiara: When Persian Meets Northern Indian Cuisine

November 21, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

Bringing you with the heaven of both world, Drop is a place you must visit if you are a big fans of Persian and Indian food.

Drop Exchange is located in Solaris Mont Kiara is indeed a unique place to dine. Being the first Wall – Street themed bar and restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, they do serve a decent Persian and North Indian Cuisine all in one place.

One of the highlights here is they have the stock market concept of getting your drinks and they are like the trading concept. They also created an app to ease customer to keep track of the price of the wine, liquor and more.

Aside from the drinking place, one must also come here to try their meals too. And if you are not aware, they had put in loads of effort in their dishes and they are using the authentic recipes which is from their Bombay Chefs and also using the spices which is imported all the way from India.

Berry Pulao
One of the signatures here and this dish is simply famed in Britannia. The dish is an adaption of the  Iranian zereshk (barberries), polo (cooked rice) . And in here, they had added some chunks of chicken meat in between. I love the berry which is added into it which makes it more appetizing with the light tarty flavours.

Salli Ma Margi (RM25)
Have the delicious parsi style chicken which is topped with the potatosalli and served together with the pav

Mutter Methi Malai (RM 27)
For vegetarian lover, they have this dish where they are completed with the Fenugreek leaves and peas cooked in cream. Dipped them with some roti together and enjoy till the fullest.

Sheekh Paratha (RM 30)
Have this wonderfulious Indian delights where they comes with the Mutton Seekh Kebab and sides with the lacha Paratha. This dish is inspired from the street vendors Bhendi Bazaar in Mumbai. Love the unique bites of it and it is our first time trying this dish. It is just good and delicious.

Papeta Par Eedu
One of the highlights and my favorite of the night. This dish is one of the popular recipe of the Parsi Cuisine where the potatoes are being cooked with the potatoes and the humble yet potent egg. The dish is not restricted just for breakfast but you can have them all round the clock. The taste is perfectly yummy and fully satisfying as well.

And you can enjoy your meal here with the variety of breads where they have the Tandoori Roti (RM 3), Lacha Paratha (RM 5), Naan (RM 5), Cheese Kulcha (RM 8), Aloo Pratha (RM 8), and many more.

If you are looking for something unique; Drop Exchange is a place to visit
