Dine With Me @ Tatsu Japanese Restaurant, Intercontinental Hotel Kuala Lumpur

October 11, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

Tatsu Japanese Cuisine which is located at Level 1 of InterContinental Hotel Kuala Lumpur brings you with its premier, upscale Japanese Restaurant. And being that, Tatsu brings you with a sophisticated twist to the traditional dining experience as it combine subtle blend of Japanese aesthetics with contemporary yet minimalist design.

With the seating capacity of 147 seats, the restaurant offers youu with five choices of dining seating from the sishi bar, teppanyaki room, prvate dining room, public dining area to the cozy dining lounge. And this round, we had their awesomelicious promotion which was the Dine With Me Promo.

We started our meals with the Assorted Sashimi Selection where the Sashimi were beautifully arranged on top of the bed of ice. We enjoyed the freshness ingredients here where we had the Tuna, Kampachi, Salmon, Hotate , Akagai, and Oysters. The ingredients were fresh – complete with the juiciness. And every mouthful is just divinely good.

As for the sushi, we had the Avacado Sushi, Anago Sushi and the Uni Sushi. Luxurious sushi with the fresh ingredients on the top. Sinfully addictive.

As for the soup, we enjoyed the Hamaguri Miso Soup where they were packed with flavours. The Miso Soup was just perfect in its taste where they were sweet and packed with the flavours from the Japanese Clams in it. In it, you can have the cubes of tofu, spring onions and also the wakame.

Seafood Lover like me was super happy when they brought in the platter. Enjoy the Unagi Shiro Sakamushi, Tarabayaki, Sake Shioyaki and Teriyaki, Ebi Tempura, Shirao with Kakiage, Broccoli Tempura, Yamaimo Tempura, and the Asparagus Tempura. Loved the crispy bites of tempura and the moist juicy flavours. Nice and perfect taste!

We also tasted their meat choices as well. The set of meat platter came simply luxurious where we had the Wagyu Sumiyaki with Himalayan Salt, Grilled Honey Chicken with Sudachi, Lamb Teppanyaki with Cheddar Cheese Aonori, Stewed Beef Cheek with Red Wine, Stewed Aigamo Rosu-ni with julienne Carrot, Kyuri, and radish, Bacon with Fried Potato Ball and also the Mushroom Teppanyaki. We indeed enjoyed the delicious tender and juicy meat which were served to us. Oh my! Addictively good.

After all those delicious food; we ended our meal with some Desserts. We enjoyed the Grand Marnier Ice Souffle and the Green Tea Haagen Dazs Ice Cream and a Mochi.

Overall, this is one of the best Japanese we had and we were all full and happy after a great meal ! Dine With Me is available on Saturdays and Sundays during Tatsu’s opening hours: Lunch 11.30am to 2.30pm; Dinner 6.30pm to 10.30pm daily.
