Encore Patisserie Cafe @ Taman Desa KL

July 18, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

A hidden jewel i could say! Located inside the neighbourhood of Taman Desa lies a cafe by the name of Encore where you will definite “encore” and go back for more. Recently we found this cafe which brings us with the cosy environment with the nice interior that will definitely make your hi-tea even more worth while.
Encore is a much – loved pastries where they offers you with the wide choices of pastries, scrumptious savouries, main courses and even great tea and coffee too. We had also found out they have nice choices of food that will definitely makes up your day whether you are visiting them for breakfast, tea or even dinner.

Hi – Tea Set (RM 50)
One of the most anticipated hi-tea offerings is also available in Encore. Enjoy some “taitai” life here where you can have a range of lovely pastries with just RM 50 for 2 pax. The portion comes simply generous where the set comes with the Mille Feuile, Chicken Mushroom Pie, Australian Beef Pie, Egg Sandwich, Tuna Sandwich, Mini Cheese Tart and other pastries. Comes together with a choice of your tea too.

Bircher Muesli (RM 15)
A healthy breakfast to go for, if you are visiting them for breakfast but of course you can have them anytime. Not even an oats lover, I would say yes to this. The cold bowl of oats are served together with the cranberries, grated apple, milk , orange juice, topped with blueberries & strawberries. It is such an appetising desserts that will definitely make your day.
Lemongrass Chicken Skewer (RM 15)
I did not expect this is so awesome. Just a perfect combination, the lemongrass skewer is simply addictive and juicy. The meat is moist with the nice infusion of lemongrass in it.
Duck Confict (RM 30)
Looking at it as my first sight; it is not too much appealing to my eyes. I am wrong after all where the dish comes amazingly good where the slow cooked duck leg comes out with the fall of meat, no gammy taste on it after all. Served with the truffle potato puree , sauteed shimeji mushroom, sugar bean, sun-dried tomato & cranberry sauce.

Lamb Ragout (RM 35)
Enjoy the scumpti-licious lamb which is slow cooked till perfection together with the al-dente linguine pasta here. The lamb is perfectly well cooked with the homemade tomato sauce and topped with the aged Parmesan cheese with it.
Basil Pesto Chicken Wrap (RM 18)
Help your self with the juicy pesto wrap. Completes your meal with the tortilla wrap with the crispy chicken, gem lettuce, tomato, egg, fresh grated parmesan cheese, basil pesto, mayo and also curly fries.
Tiramisu (RM 14)
You can also get a taste of their homemade tiramisu where this espresso infused sponge cake are served with the mascarpone cream cheese with it. Too bad, there is no alcohol in it!

Lemon Tart (RM 9)
Another a must to try is also their Lemon Tart where it comes with the blend of sweet and light soury bites.
Opera Cake with Vanilla Ice cream
Nice combination and simply delicious. One of my favorite.
