Award-Winning Singapore Guest Chef Justin Quek Curates Franco-Asian Cuisine at The Library

July 12, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

For those who are a fans of this Singapore Chef- Chef Justin Quek; you do not need to travel all the way to Singapore to experience and taste the delicious food by him. This time, Chef Justin Quek is collaborating with The Ritz-Carlton Kualal Lumpur.
This Singapore – born Chef Justin  embarked  on his  culinary  career  after  a  position as  a  steward on  a merchant ship ignited his passion in the trade, leading him onto a remarkable career spanning over 30 years which  included experiences in Michelin-starred  restaurants  around  the  world.
And this time around, Chef Justin brings you with the special promotion only for 4 days where this will showcasting his exacting skills in reinventing Asian favourites with French twist and flairs.
Chef Justin Quek’s Signature Starters
Enjoy the perfectly well prepared Mushroom Cappuccino served in the cups where they are made from the Cauliflower Puree, Oscietra Caviar and the white Chocolate. Served together with the Ceps Cream Duck Foie Gras Xiao Long Bao which indeed a great twist to it. The dish is perfectly amazingly done with the Xiao Long Bao which is well infused with the taste of Foie Gras in it.

Appetiser
Duo of Maine Lobster
Elegantly presently to us with the explosion of taste in it. The taste is simply amazing where it comes with the combination of two mushrooms together with the shao xing cream. The flavours are simply good and delicious together with the juicy lobster meat.
Main Course
Crispy Scale Cod Fillet
This is amazing good and elegantly prepared. The Cod fish  with clam and herb fondue brings you a crispy at the outside texture and the cod fillet is flaky and juicy. Nicely prepared.
Asian Braised Angus Beef and Seared Wagyu Beef
The impressive dish I ever had. The marriage between East and West where Chef Justin uses the fermented beans together with the other Chinese spices to prepared the dish. The taste of A4 Angus Beef is divinely delicious and heavenly.
Dessert
Chocolate And Mint Floating Island With Caramelised Crispy Rice
Ends your meal with a sweet desserts. Specially prepared  Chocolated and Mint Floating Island wth the Caramelised Crispy Rice, it brings you with the light and fragrant hint of mint which is simply refreshing.
