FLAVOURS OF JAPAN AT CAFÉ ON M

March 20, 2017 by StrawberrY Gal

Experience the Japanese flair over the sumptuous dinner buffet highlighting a myriad of culinary choices using home-grown produces such as sakura, yuzu, sesame, matcha, Japanese egg and greens, alongside all-time Japanese favourites like sashimi and sushi, ramen, Japanese curry and tempura.

Awaken your appetite with the freshest sashimi and sushi ranging from Uni, Red Sweet Prawn, Hokkaido Scallop, Salmon, Tuna and Hamachi. Select your favourite noodles from sakura, yuzu, soba or matcha chilled noodles with plentiful condiments and sauces to create your own Japanese style of chilled noodles.

Discover authentic Japanese flavour from the ramen noodle with Tonkotsu pork bone or curry soup base and accompanied with 13 diverse Japanese garnishes at the live cooking ramen noodle station. A variety of meats and Japanese vegetables will be freshly grilled in front of you at the Robatayaki section. The selection of tempting grills include beef tongue, Yakitori Chicken, Japanese pumpkin and many more. Do not miss the delicate and crispy tempura and Tonkatsu Pork Escalope to satisfy your taste buds.

Indulge in an array of tantalising Japanese hot dishes including appetising Seafood Chawan Mushi with Yuzu and Japanese Egg, sweet yet refreshingly sour Japanese Strawberry and Sakura Pork Spare Ribs, as well as the aromatic Sakura Sake Steamed Clams with Garlic, Soy and Butter. The soft, tangy salted cherry blossoms of Preserved Sakura Petal Rice will impress you, not-to-mention the tender Yuzu Roast Chicken.

The impressive range of Japanese-inspired desserts is the perfect way to finish this exceptional Japanese gastronomic journey.  The delightful Sakura Panna Cotta with Lychee Jelly, Yuzu Napoleon, Matcha Eclairs and Ume Plum Crème Brulee are innovatively created with a touch of Japanese flairs, which will definitely offer you a sweet memory to remember.

The dinner buffet also features a host of tantalising all-time favorites namely freshly-shucked oysters, oven-roasted suckling pig and many more. The much-loved Mövenpick ice cream and an enticing array of desserts will put a sweet finishing touch to the Japanese feast.

Available from now until 30 April 2017.
