In ushering the Year of the Rooster, Executive Chinese Chef Wong Wing Yeuk has crafted a mouthwatering array of Chinese New Year menus featuring classic Shanghainese cuisine.
Fresh Fruits Yee Sang
Stir up good fortune and wealth this year with Shanghai restaurant’s interesting variety of Yee Sang. The Yee Sang can be accompanied with delicacies such as abalone, salmon, lobster, sea urchin, octopus and even fresh fruits, for a refreshing twist on a traditional dish. Enjoy the delicious Fresh fruit s Yee Sang which is one of the signatures here in Shanghai. It comes with the variety of fresh fruits with it and top with the peanut sauce, wasabi sauce, sweet sauce with the hint of wasabi in it.
Double Boiled Superior Fish Maw Soup with Fermented Black Garlic, Black and Cordyceps Flower
Served hot, the bowl of fish maw soup comes awesomely good. The soothing bowl of soup which is completed with the fragrance if the fermented black garlic in it. The soup is indeed very nutritious and taste just perfect.
Pan Fried Cod with a Touch of Brandy
Enjoy the pan fried cod which brings you with the crispy bites, flaky texture in the meat itself. The hint of brandy can be tasted in it and it rings you with the hint of the fragrant brandy in it.
Shanghainese Seafood Noodles with Black Truffle Paste
The noodles are being made in house which is just awesomely good. Silky and slurpy-licious Shanghainese Noodles. The noodles comes awesomely delicious and appetising and  they are beautifully prepared with the hint of black truffle in it.

Steamed Shanghainese Meat Dumpling
Enjoy these delicious Shanghainese Meat Dumpling which is one of a must when you are enjoying Shanghai-nese Delights.
Pan-Fried Glutinous Rice Cake with Sesame Seed and Chilled Cream of Sago with Seasonal Mango and Pomelo
Ends your meal with the delicious Seasonal Mango and Pomelo with it. Sides with the soft and moist pan fried glutinous cake with it.
In creating an auspicious feast for family and friends to usher in luck, prosperity and joy, Shanghai has specially created three set menus. Starting from MYR 238 nett per person, these menus are perfect for large gatherings and reunions.
The Chinese New Year set menus and a la carte offerings are available through February 11, 2017.
Located on Level 1 at JW Marriott Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai is open from Monday to Saturday for lunch from12.00 pm to 2.30 pm and for dinner from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
