Tiger Beer to Make One Million Consumers Winners this Chinese New Year

December 28, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

This Chinese New Year (CNY), Tiger Beer is rewarding its discerning consumers with an Abundance of Prosperity for their continuous support and loyalty. Heineken Malaysia Berhad’s CNY campaign for the Year of Rooster, led by Asia’s iconic Tiger Beer, launched nationwide today will see over one million Malaysian consumers win cash and prizes worth a total of RM2 million.

Between 1st and 31st January 2017, consumers will have the chance to win prizes such as cash ang-pows of RM8,888, RM2 rebates on beer purchases, and exclusive sets of playing cards.  All they have to do is purchase any big bottle of Tiger Beer, Heineken, Guinness, or Anchor Beer in Coffee Shops, Food Courts, and Restaurants, and check the bottle cap liners to see if they have shared in the prosperity.

In addition, when consumers purchase two big bottles of Heineken or Guinness in participating outlets, they will be given a “Match & Win” scratch card to put their luck to the test.  Winning scratch cards will entitle the owner to an immediate redeemable RM2 rebate on their next purchase of a big bottle of Heineken or Guinness.

Andrew Woon, Sales Director of Heineken Malaysia Berhad said, “It is that time of the year where we reunite with family and loved ones to cherish and rejoice in the presence of one another. This time around, we wish to spread abundance of joy and prosperity to over a million consumers to thank them for their constant support. We hope this gives our discerning drinkers even more reasons to celebrate with our winning portfolio of brews during this auspicious time of the year.”

To add on to the celebration, Tiger Beer will be visiting selected outlets across Malaysia throughout January, bringing attractive promotions, live performances, exciting on-ground engagements, and games with cash and prizes.

Furthermore, consumers who pre-purchase dinner tables at these selected outlets nationwide will receive a specially created Tiger Yee Sang set. Created in conjunction with Tiger Beer’s street food campaign, Tiger STREATS, this exclusive, limited-edition Yee Sang will be sure to help you usher in the Lunar New Year in a prosperous fashion.

More than 180 other outlets around the country will also be visited by Tiger Beer Brand Ambassadors and the God of Prosperity. The Tiger Beer roving teams will also be out and about to spread the joy to approximately 1,200 additional outlets throughout the month.

Meanwhile, consumers who seek to bring the celebrations home can visit supermarkets and hypermarkets, where they will discover exclusive CNY packaging on 24-can and 18-can packs of Tiger Beer. The special 18-can packs will be available at selected Giant and Aeon stores throughout Malaysia, which includes 2 packets of exclusive Tiger CNY ang-pow – perfect for sharing the abundance of prosperity with family and friends this Lunar New Year.

So this Chinese New Year, be sure to think of Tiger Beer and the rest of Heineken Malaysia Berhad’s award-winning range of iconic brews as you come together to celebrate with friends and family. For more information on this campaign and the abundance of promotions, as well as the dates and locations of outlet events, please visit https://www.facebook.com/TigerBeerMY. These promotions are only open to non-Muslim Malaysians who are 18 years old and above.
