Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong Offers the Sweet Scents of Peonia Nobile Through its Acqua di Parma Afternoon Tea

December 22, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Island Shangri La, Hong Kong has partnered with renowned Italian perfumer Acqua di Parma and Veuve Clicquot to create a floral afternoon tea for 2017 that satisfies all the senses. The hotel introduces guests to the captivating scents of Acqua di Parma’s perfumes from its Le Nobili Collection through an afternoon tea set inspired by the perfumer’s feminine floral fragrances and available at the hotel’s

Lobby Lounge and Island Gourmet from 27 December 2016 to 28 February 2017. Guests are invited to savour this scrumptious tea set of delicate finger sandwiches and pastries, complement it with a glass of Veuve Clicquot Rosé, as well as take home their very own miniature bottle of Acqua di Parma perfume, which is beautifully housed in the brand’s iconic yellow hand-crafted hat box.

Paying homage to its latest fragrance, Peonia Nobile, from Acqua di Parma’s Le Nobili Collection, the afternoon tea set is inspired by peony from the Peonia Nobile perfume, as well as the other four alluring scents from the range, including Iris, Magnolia, Jasmine and Rose. The hotel has created five different desserts based on these five Le Nobili fragrances: Iris – Exotic compote and ivory coconut mousse; Magnolia – Cherry and pistachio tart; Jasmine – Pink pepper and mandarin mousse on speculoos crust; Rose – Rose and vanilla macaroon; and last but not least, Peony – Raspberry and lychee with rose
mascarpone cream.

As a perfect Valentine’s Day treat (the tea set will be available in the lead up to and during this amorous holiday), the tea set ticks off all the traditional romantic treats including flowers, champagne and perfume in one enchanting experience.
