One of the steamboat shops in Manjalara, ChenChenHo comes to my attraction with the purple color sign board and also clean ambience. The restaurant which started quite sometime ago in Bukit Tinggi and they had expended to Manjalara bringing you a vast variety in the area.
ChenChenHo claims to have originated from Pulau Ketam with more than 50 years of experience in serving daily fresh seafood and steamboat. The steamboat choices comes with different choices of ingredients at different package of price.
And we are recommended to get the set at RM67 which comes with the steamboat set for 3 pax, a plate of pork slices and golden needle mushroom. Then you get to choose a free dish between fish meat mihun or kam heong lala.
For the steamboat it comes with the choices of few soup where you can choose herbal (chargeable), clear and tomyam are free. The steamboat ingredients are pretty good where the food quality standards are there. Everything that is served are mainly fishballs, fish meats, tau fu, crabstick, quill egg and some prawns with it.
And this round we grab the kam heong lala. The dish is absolutely good and fresh in terms of the ingredients too. It is just slightly too spicy to my preference.
