All You Can Eat Ala Carte Buffet @ Kogetsu, Saujana Hotel & Resort

November 4, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Kogetsu which means “reflection of the moon on the water” is designed in the style of a traditional Japanese “ryokan”. Built on stilts, it offers a tranquil view of the lake and surrounding gardens. Under the helm of resident Chef Taketoshi Minami, Kogetsu features Japanese cuisine that stays true to its roots using only the freshest seasonal ingredients and prepared with a respect for tradition.

Featuring a separate Teppanyaki room, Sushi counter and three Tatami rooms for private dining, diners will have the experience of a Japanese dining ambiance like no other. And now, you can enjoy ala-carte buffet here in Kogetsu and importantly is their ingredients are premium.

Starts your meal with the variety of Appetizers where you can enjoy a wide range of delicious Japanese delighst from the Edameme, Japanese Potato Salad, Fresh Salad, Tsukemono, Tomato and Cucumber and many more.

They also have the Sushi and Sashimis from their buffet spread and to order too. Must go for is their Sashimi variety where you can enjoy the tuna, white tuna, salmon , sabass, tako, Shimesaba, and also Ika and many more.

For the Sushi Selection, try their Tamago Nigiri Sushi, Ssakekawa Roll, Ura Maki, Tuna roll, Salmon Roll, Soft Shell Roll, Ebi Ten Roll, Kappa Maki, as well as those California Hand roll, Salmon Hand roll and the Tuna Hand Roll too.

As for their ala-carte menu that you can order, don’t missed all those Yakimono Selection. Enjoy the Shake Shioyaki, Saba Teriyaki, Sanma Shioyaki, Chicken Yakitori, Unagi Kabayaki, Gyu Teriyaki, Tori Teritaki, Gyu Shogayaki, Shake Kama Teriyaki, Shishamo, and also the Ika Geso Shioyaki. As for me, our favorite is of course most of the item but the Ika Geso Shioyaki is something we are ordered a few rounds. We indeed love this so much!

If you love some deep fried dishes, do enjoy those crispy dishes where it includes the Ebi Tempura, Soft Shell Tempura, Tori Karaage, Agedashi Tofu, Kakiage, Kushi Katsu, Shirauo Karaage and also the Satoimo Agedashi.

From the Nimono category, enjoy the Nikujaga which is the delicious Stewed Beef Sirloin, Chawanmushi, Takenoko Tosani, Buri Daikon, Suki Nijomi and also the Shimehi Aburaage ni.

Dont missed their teppanyaki selections too. Their Gyu Hire is simply our favorite. Not just that, the Wakador, Salmon, hotate, Ebi, Moyashi, Enoki, Shimeji, Shitake, Yasai Itame, Yaki Udon, Nad Yakimeishi are also a good one.

Ends your meal with wide range of cakes, mochi and ice cream from their buffet spread.

The buffet are priced at RM 145 per person and Kids eat for free ( below 12 years old, limited two per single receipt) and you can add RM 100 ( for a free flow of SHR wine ) . The buffet is available on Saturday and Sunday 11.30 am – 3 pm.
