The Marriott Millennials Business Council – Malaysia recently organized a “Chicken Dance For Charity” event at each of the Marriott and Renaissance Hotels in Malaysia to help raise funds for Malaysian AIDS Foundation.
Hotel staff who saw their Leadership Team flap their arms and bounce their knees to the rhythm of the Chicken Dance song pledged RM10.00 to their favorite department head(s) dancing in the hotel lobby. Hotel guests were also encouraged to support the initiative by placing their contribution in the donation box and to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime hilarious performance.
A sum of RM5,200.00 was raised by the Marriott Millennials Business Council – Malaysia which comprises of Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel, Putrajaya Marriott Hotel, The Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur, JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Renaissance Kota Bharu Hotel, Renaissance Johor Bahru Hotel, Miri Marriott Resort & Spa and Mulu Marriott Resort & Spa.
