Disneyland Hong Kong: Bringing back the childhood memory!

September 16, 2016 By StrawberrY Gal - Hong Kong, Travel 23 Comments

A dream long long time ago! Is a childhood dream for everyone and Disneyland Hong Kong is our recent visit with our love ones –
Grace. Grown up with the stories and movies from Disney, no one will say no to Disneyland. And we here coming to the Hong Kong Disneyland where it give us loads of memory, funs and most important is family bonding.
Most of us are busy with work and having a great bonding time is one of the most important things in life especially with our children. I can’t afford as this moment The Disneyland in Paris or many other Disneyland round the world but this is the first Disneyland we venture as a family.
Hong Kong Disneyland is the smallest Disneyland around the world but it is enough for a day to venture them. Enter a magical kingdom inspired by fairy-tale dreams and explore 7 lands—Adventureland, Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point, Toy Story Land, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland and Main Street, U.S.A. where you will  be filled with beauty, excitement and Disney Characters.
STOP 1: Tomorrow-land
Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
We started not to venture the Street first but we venture to other games and attraction. Start your Journey with Tomorrowland with the enjoyment with the fire lasers to defeat Zurg in this shooting-gallery attraction that puts you in the center of a thrilling space battle. Spin around and fire is what you enjoy  together with Buzz  Lightyear and  spin  your cruiser a full 360 degrees, identify the interplanetary “Z” targets and blast them by firing lasers from your cannon to collect points.
Orbitron
Next will be Orbitron whee you can enjoy yourself with the flying aucer high above Tomorrowland amid a glistening galaxy of orbiting planets. We din’t manage to get the ride as queue was real long and we need to wait for at least 30 minutes.
STOP 2: Fantasyland
Mad Hatter Tea Cups
Little Grace who is a big fans of “Alice in Wonderland” is just falling in love with the Mad Hatter Tea Cup. A wheel in the center of the teacup lets you control the direction and speed of your spin. If you decide you want a wild ride, simply turn the wheel fast and hold on. If you want a gentler ride, you may opt to not turn the wheel at all.
Look how fun little Grace is enjoying her ride in the Mad Hatter Cup. Though it is slightly dizzy but she just wanted more rides of the cup.
Mickey’s PhilharMagic
It is one of our favorite show for this and it is amazingly fun. Meet the Disney character in 3D in a 10 minutes show featuring Donald Duck. Enjoy the stroll beneath a regal regal marquee and make your way to the cottage-like Fantasyland Concert Hall, passing whimsical show posters starring a bevy of classic Disney characters. And you can enjoy those  some of the memorable songs from Disney animation history including Be Our Guest” from Beauty and the Beast, “Part of Your World” from The Little Mermaid, “A Whole New World” from Aladdin and many more. The experience was absolutely a great one and perfectly memorable.
Cinderella Carousel
No one would like to miss this. The Cinderella Carousel where you enjoy a spin around, up and down to joyous music atop a regal steed at this classic attraction inspired by Disney’s Cinderella. Enjoy the  time you had and climb  aboard an ornate carousel horse and gallop through a whirling backdrop of color and sound. Hop atop your charger and prepare yourself for a royal ride.
– She just enjoy the Royal Ride with the lovely horse-
Fairy Tale Forest
Take a journey through this whimsical garden featuring classic Disney Fairytales as living storybooks. Explore the enchanted Fairy Tale Forest where scenes from some of your favorite princess fairy tales come to life in a magical garden setting beautifully crafted in miniature scale.
Immerse yourself in fairy tale forest and you can snap pictures with all the character there. Grace being a fans of Tinkerbell is a must to visit the Fairy Tale forest.Snap pictures, receive autographs and share laughs with Tinker Bell.
And here she go with a sweet hug with Tinkerbell that make her a Happy Girl
The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
The little cute pooh and wonder the Hundred Acre Wood with him. Immerse yourself with the oversized Hunny Pot and the stories of Winnie The Pooh. Hop into a giant, 6-person Hunny Pot and get lost in the pages of A.A. Milne’s classic tales, as you journey to the enchanted world of Hundred Acre
The Ride with Grace to venture the  Hundred Acre Wood

Well, we are lucky the day as they had an afternoon parade at the Main Street. Spot the Disney Character there with Dumbo, Toy Story, Lilo and Stich and many more.

This really does bring back memories! I remember going to Disneyland for the first time when I was 10 and it was amazing! Now as an adult I would have to see if it gives me a different experience. Your daughter is super cute btw. 🙂

I’ve been to the one in Tokyo and I liked it but generally amusement parks are not really my fave places. I prefer parks where I can picnic and read 🙂
