VALENTINE’S DAY AT PLAZA ATHÉNÉÉ BANGKOK, A ROYAL MÉRIDIEN

February 3, 2016 by StrawberrY Gal

Romance is in the air again at Plaza Athénée Bangkok, A Royal Méridien Hotel’s award-winning The Reflexions, newly re-designed The Rain Tree Café restaurants and Utage on St. Valentine’s Day, Sunday, 14 February 2016.

Bon Appétit My Love

The ambiance is as sparkling and intimate as ever and the separate but complementary special menus for “elle” and “lui” (her and him) by our highly sensitive chefs only intensifies the notions of romance.

Each menu comprises five courses and of course you can choose either regardless of gender.

But ladies’ hearts will soar through their indulgence in:
Foie gras torchon with apricot jelly and jam, toasted almonds and brioche with raisin
Green asparagus cream soup with lightly steamed swimmer crab tortellini
Salad of Brittany lobster, compressed watermelon, shaved fennel, granny smith apple, frisee and lemon oil
Line caught French sea bass, fricassee of white beans, asparagus, green peas, smoked bacon and baby leek
Panna cotta of rhubarb, jelly, compote and sorbet, crumble biscuit, white chocolate and pistachio wafer

And the men will be emotionally moved as never before by:
Pan seared foie gras with berry compote, thin toast, and raspberry foam
Jerusalem artichoke veloute, slow cooked egg yolk and crispy bacon
Pan seared Hokkaido scallops, French blood sausage, witlof with an apple and ginger puree
Herb crusted lamb fillet, sweet breads with garlic pomme puree, roasted salsify and chanterelle mushroom and rosemary jus
Valrhona dark chocolate sphere filled with mousse, and raspberry textures

The love-laden 05-course menus are each priced only THB 4,000++/ person including 01 glass of Sparkling Wine – Chandon Brut Rosé

It would be wonderful to welcome you both to whichever you choose.
