CHINESE NEW YEAR MENU @ EE CUISINE, EASTIN PETALING JAYA

January 26, 2016 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review, Invited Review Leave a Comment

It had been a while since I visited Ee Cuisine, located in Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpir. The restaurant brings you with the lovely great dishes welcoming the year of Monkey who one should pampered themselves for.

Salmon with Rice Cracker Yee Sang
Tossed for prosperity this year with the unique choices of Yee Sang where you can find the choices from the Live Geoduck Yee Sang, Australian Lobster Yee Sang, Abalone Rice Crackers Yee Sang, and more, priced from RM118 nett onwards per portion. We had the Salmon Version of Yee Sang which filled with the generous portion of salmon trout
The warm and hearty soup comes awesomely good with their double boiled soup. It is heavenly where the soup is loaded with the Chinese herbs and traditional dried scallop in it. Every mouthful is perfect and I am indeed impressed with the soup itself.

Steamed Live Kerai Fish with Superior Soya Sauce
Don’t miss out their steamed fish. The fish is uniquely presented where the fish remains its moist and succulent texture with the crisp coating of the deep fried skin at the outside.
Roasted Pi Pa Duck
Roasted till perfection, the dish comes awesomely good with the tender meat and the crispy skin. I love the crispy bites of the skin with the robust sweet and savoury flavors of the duck itself. It brings you with the robust flavours and every mouthful is awesomely good.

Braised Homemade Beancurd, Dried Oyster with Prawns and Vegetables
The dish come good where it completes with the fresh prawns, mushrooms, vegetables, large premium oysters as well as the generous portion of the homemade beancurd. The texture is smooth and every mouthful is just so perfect.
Waxed Meat Rice with XO Sauce
Don’t miss out the Waxed Meat Rice with XO Sauce. Even with those heavy meals from the start, I usually skip the rice but Ee Cuisine brings you with a good one that I really enjoy them. The crisp rice served together with the dried shrimps, chunky mushrooms and plenty of waxed duck meat. The taste is indeed lovely with the modern twist and bringing you an aromatic and savoury  taste.
Coconut Pudding
Never go home without ending their signature coconut pudding dessert. The desserts comes simply amazing and it is such a great treat to end our meal. It is simply silky and smooth with the tip top fragrant coconut milk flavours in it.
Not just enjoying great meal here but they also have a great performance themed Oldies Night” every Thursday evening.
