PORTOFINO @ LUCKY GARDEN, BANGSAR

November 18, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

PORTOFINO
Portofino is indeed a great Italian Restaurant in Bangsar bringing you an affordable delights with the great environment. Located in the other side of Bangsar; Portofino brings you with the great ambience and romantic dining experience.

PORTOFINO
Helmed by Chef Keli, an Italian native who has been cooking since the young age of 14; you will definitely to enjoy a decent and great Italian delights at affordable price.
PORTOFINO
Carpaccio di Salmone- Salmon Carpaccio (RM 28)
The slices of Norwagian smoked salmon is being served on a bed of romaine lettuce, black olives, carrots with the fresh orange slices. The delicious done salmon comes awesomely good and brings you with the fresh texture. Nicelu done.
PORTOFINO
Spaghetti Portifino – Seafood Spaghetti (RM 38)
Cooked al-dente, the spaghetti is well sautéed in olive oil, garlic, chili, basil, prawns, squids, mussels, clams, scallops and it is cooked in fresh homemade fish stock. I love the way it is done where every mouthful is divinely good.
PORTOFINO
Risitto ai Gamberia Curry (RM 36)
Combining the local and Italian cooking style, the unique risotto is served with the fresh prawns curry spices, apple pieces and cream. Nicely done and every mouthful is divinely good.
PORTOFINO
Pizza 4 Stagioni (RM 36)
The 4 choices of ingridients beautifully presented on top of the thin crust pizza. The tomato, cheese, beef pepperoni, turket ham, mushroom and also black olive is beautifully arranged on top of the pizza and baked till perfection. The pizza comes amazingly good and I love how it is served especially the thin crust.
PORTOFINO
Seafood Ravioli (RM 36)
Seafood Ravioli (RM36) filled with fresh lobster and fish meat served in a rich lobster bisque sauce. It is nicely done and the taste is good however the ravioli is slightly too thick to my preference.

Being in a Italian restaurant, you would of course end your meal with the great desserts.
PORTOFINO
Panna Cotta (RM 14.00)
Ends your meal with the Panna Cotta which is simply good . The panna cotta came in fantastic fine creamy textures which made a sweet ending.
PORTOFINO
Tiramisu (RM 16.00)
Affordable priced, the Tiramisu is simply good. Made with coffee, almond liquer combined with mascarpone cheese. Double thumbs up!

Overall , Portofino is indeed a great restaurant to visit. Bringing you the great food with an affordable price. They also cater for parties and buffets too. Some of the recommended dishes includes the Spaghetti Portifino, Risitto ai Gamberia Curry and also the Tiramisu.
