“CRABS AND SEAFOOD SYMPHONY” DINNER BUFFET AT PARK CAFÉ OF PARK HOTEL HONG KONG

October 4, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Autumn is just around the corner and it is the best season to sample the tasty and finest crabs. Starting from October, Park café of Park Hotel Hong Kong presents an array of delectable crab specialities to pamper your taste buds.

“Crabs and Seafood Symphony” Dinner Buffet incorporates various kinds of fresh and succulent crabs from all around the world to bring patrons a taste of freshness. Gourmets are suggested to try out the exquisite and sizzling Lobster Bisque with Crabmeat in Puff Pastry to kick off the buffet. The secret of this extraordinarily sweet bisque is the introduction of Rifle Cardinal, which has enhanced the freshness of the soup, giving you a deep satisfaction with its briny sweetness and fragrance. Highlight of the dish is the Black Truffle and Tomato Crab Cake, it is freshly handmade by our chefs every day, you will be surprised by the crunchy on the outside and smooth of the inside. Other mouthwatering delights are Mini Bamboo Charcoal Burger with Wagyu and Crab Leg and Baked Crab Shell with Seared Foie Gras. The wagyu of former dish is imported from Australia and our chefs have carefully controlled the cooking temperature and time to ensure the tenderness and juiciness of the burger steak. While for the latter dish, the foie gras is perfectly paired with luscious crab shell, which has stuffed with the blended crabmeat, shrimp paste and cheese, bringing you a special way to sample the taste of crab. Other delectable choices, including Scallop and Crabmeat with Aloe Vera and Mango in Shooter Glass, Black Truffle, Oyster and Crabmeat Vol-au-vent with Peach, Deep-fried Soft Shell Crab with Salty Egg Yolk, Singaporean Stir-fried Chili Crab with Peppercorn and more are also available in the sumptuous buffet.

To match with the theme of “Crabs”, French Edible Crabs are specially added to the jet-fresh Assorted Seafood Platter in addition to the regular offerings including New Zealand Oysters, Canadian Snow Crab Legs, New Zealand Blue Mussels, Sea Whelks and Crayfishes. Other than the seafood platter, various sashimi selections including Salmon, Herring, Snapper and Octopus, are freshly-sliced by our Sushi Chef at Sashimi Counter. Under the spotlights are the Grilled Station and Carving Station, the former serves cooked-to-order aromatic specialties, such as Scallops, Prawns and Assorted Sate while Roasted New Zealand Beef Rib and Roasted Lamb Rack will be unlimitedly served at the latter counter, offering you the freshest dishes to relish. What’s more, assorted Salad, Thai Noodle in Soup and various Curry Delights are also introduced into the buffet to satisfy your palate.

To round off the culinary journey perfectly, a range of flavourful and beautifully-decorated desserts are not-to-be-missed. The most irresistible dessert must be MOVENPICK Ice cream from Switzerland, 10 flavours are now ready for ice cream lovers. Furthermore, Banana and Toffee Cheese Tart, Crabmeat Souffle, Double-boiled Bird’s Nest with Lotus Seed and Coconut Milk, Hokkaido 3.6 Milk Pudding with Bird’s Nest, Bird’s Nest Swiss Roll, cooked-to-order Pancake and Waffle, and Chocolate Fountain are also lined up tidily at the Dessert Counter.
