TIFFIN BY CHEF KORN @ MID VALLEY MEGAMALL

September 22, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

TIFFIN BY CHEF KORN

A brainchild of Chef Korn Yodsuk who wanted to share his much cherished family recipes that evoke memories of his childhood, Tiffin’s by Chef Korn is a warm and cozy casual dining restaurant that offers a variety of classic Thai village style food that will give you a perfect Thai food escapade.

TIFFIN BY CHEF KORN

Located in Mid Valley Megamall opposite Daiso Outlet ( upper floor), you can find the restaurant there. It is indeed a jewel place for a good Thai Food.

TIFFIN BY CHEF KORN
Fire Balls (RM 17.80 for 5 pieces)
The delicious fireballs are made from minced pork, ground roasted rice, dried chili, spring onion, coriander and shallot. Try them with their daily fresh vegetables. It is indeed a fiercy sensation but we love it.

Grilled pork neck (RM 23.80)
Well grilled till complete juiciness, the marinated pork neck issserved with their homemade sauce adn steamed glutinous rice. For thise who love a more spicy sensation, dipped them with the pipping spicy homemade chilly. It is indeed a good one we had where every mouthful is so good.

The Beef Ball Noodles (RM 28.80)
TIFFIN BY CHEF KORN

The hige portion of the Beef Ball Noodles is just so good by looking at it. Served with the Thai imported beef balls and noodles plus tender Australian shin meat and beef slice, it is indeed irrestible. The portion was a huge one and it is served with a started and salad. And I could say it worth every penny.

Signature Classic Tom Yum (RM 23.80 (chicken)/ RM 28.80 (Seafood))
Tiffin’s signature clear tom yam is another standout. It satisfies all expectations, it’s got a good kick, and it’s generous with ingredients. We had the seafood version and were quite happy with the amount of prawns and squids given and everything is good and fresh. One thing I love is the tom yum soup is prepared upon order and you can also let the chef know the level of spiciness you are looking at.

Served in the Tiffin Carrier, we had our Stewed Pork Knuckle, Green Curry and a Stir Fried Kailan with Garlic.

Stewed Pork Knuckle (RM 28.80)
The tender juicy pork knuckle is being topped wuth kailan, hardboiled egg and homemade presserved vegetables in it. The pork knuckle comes simply good with the tender and moist meat, and yet infused with the flavours in it.

The Green Curry

Comes with the choice of chicken (RM 23.80) , Pork (RM 25.80) and Seafood (RM 28.80). The green curry comes awesomely good with the thick, creamy and fragant curry with it. I love the way it is served.

Some special drinks includes the Tom Yum Mojito (RM9.80) which is the mix of chili, lemon grass, kaffir lime plus mint leaves.

Passion Tea (RM 9.80)

And overall Tiffin brings me back loads of memory and good food. I am sure I am coming back for more delicious items.
